Did you pick this up at the store and transport home?

I want something like but worried that I can't set this up myself meaning things are too heavy. Did you have help setting this up?

Very nice garage shop. I'm sure that hefty forklift came in handy setting up the lift.

Do doubt that they were made in China,, at that low price. They look as if they were copied after my Stinger Lifts. That were made in the USA over ten years ago. I have been extremely satisfied with their design and have performed very well ever since purchase.

amishman... it was going to be delivered to my house via a closed trailer, but i thought it would be a pain having to drag it out the back of the trailer so i borrowed a car trailer (from the same guy i borrowed the forklift) and picked it up at the terminal.. it is heavy and would be hard to put up by yourself.. maybe if you had a engine hoist you could, i had a friend come over to help me.. another friend of mine put his up with just the help of his wife.... good luck, when you get one

Congratulations -- what accessories came with it? Jack Tray, Drip Trays, etc. Those things are handy to have in the package. If not, are they available separately?

Nice one. Nice big space too - can we see more?

As far as set-up, I dragged mine out of the transport truck (took it all apart first) with the help of 4 guys, then set it up with a friend. It took a few guys again when the ramps needed to be lifted onto the cross-beams. No hoist/no tricks. You can do it.

hey goodfellow... buying the lift through costco only included the drip trays.. i called the company direct and ordered the caster kit there, they even gave me a discount since i already bought the lift... figured i saved about $250.00 going through costco, and with costco's great return policy i think that was the best way to go..

Actually the fella that started Stinger had worked for one of the larger American lift manufacturer of the time. He copied their basic design; but improved on the locking mechanisms. With the lack of capital for expansion and the onset up Chinese lifts, he sold the company to AXE a few years ago. I have no idea where he is now.

Anyhow the design is tried and true that has passed the test of time. With a column and locking system that is, in my opinion, far better designed than others. I'd imagine that the Dannmar will be the same, as long as the quality is as good as mentioned.

g-sport - Congrats on the new lift! It'll make it a true joy to wrench on your cars. Plus, now routine maintenance will be a breeze too. Ever since I got my lift, I have yet to use my 3-ton jack or jackstands for anything. I'm even thinking of selling all 8 of my jackstands and ramps at our next church rummage sale.

how much are they and what is the lift capacity?

7,000 lb. lift capacity... there are two sizes, one for $1699.99 and one for $1899.99.. i got the bigger of the two and so far i'm very happy with it..
check out.."costco.com" and in the search just type in "dannmar"
