Think the FHX80 is going back. I had one before, wasnt crazy about it. Only reason i purchased a new one was the picture showed a moved directional switch nearer to the handle which i liked a lot (thinking about moving the head position while the ratchet was still on the bolt). Maybe someone just photoshopped it on in the wrong place of an FHLF80 as the length doesnt even look right for an FHX80.

That picture is actually representitive of the original version of the FHX80, it did in fact have the switch lower down on the handle. I would like to see that come back.

They have changed the locking flex switch from plastic to metal though. Still plastic on the 72. No USAs.

This is great news, I wonder if the repair kits are going to metal selectors any time soon.

Channellock set- 426, 420, 440, and came with a free 6-n-1 screwdriver that I actually really like.
Craftsman Professional GripDriver ratcheting screwdriver (Made in Germany) and a Craftsman ratcheting 1/4 drive handle with the adapter I use to make it a ratcheting screwdriver as well.

This thing is a tank. Looking forward to the daunting task of getting it organized how I like it. I'm sure it'll take more than one try. At least the top drawer is easy.

Even the keys are awesome!

I have the exact same box. Bought it 4 months ago when i was in a gladiator box, now that i've found this place, i've filled the thing up.

how do you use that?

Its for slotted pistons that are mainly found on rear brakes. The pistons need to be turned in to get them back into the caliper sleeve. That tool in a universal adapter to spin said pistons, the square hole is 3/8" drive.

@ Chadwilliam1; this is a 16" bar

@ Armed Bear; when i was younger, back at home we almost exclusively used Stihl, i liked them a lot, nowadays it's more mixed (70% Stihl, 30 % Husqvarna)

@FlatBlackBlaze , Yepp, MS170 really nice to handle and light weight....

I was referring to a customer. I use to find tools from time to time in scoreboards and it would make my day even if it was a rusty POS.

Nah I doubt it. It just came in from another shop. all 3 pieces were still connected when it was found and it was laying across the battery. The extension has little arc mark on it. Really surprised it didn't weld it self to the posts.

if you know it came in from another shop you could return it...just saying. I'm sure you'd appreciate the gesture if it was your tool you left in a customers car because it happens to everyone at one time or another.

Got a set of Phillips instinct snap-on screwdrivers in red 5PCs. And ordered the long no.2 screwdriver that should come next week. Might see if I can but more red instinct handles and swap out my old green ones so they all match. If not I'll just but different colors for the different type of driver.( flat, Phillips, torx ect)

All 6 screwdrivers for under $80 new.

Pic tomorrow

Cornwell man intrigued me with this one. A basic multimeter, and scanner in one. Since I got the few bucks I owed him paid off, I thought I'd splurge. To be honest, for simple CEL checks, and voltage/draw checks it gets to be a pain hauling around a full diagnostic scanner, and a full fluke. This seemed like a great option. And has more features then I expected. Including vehicle specific codes, data display, basic tests, charging tests, starter tests, and battery tests! Along with a graphing meter. Time will tell if I like it, but for the price I'm impressed.

I finally stepped onto the Snap-On bandwagon... more on that in a moment.

I went to a couple flea markets and a closeout store over the past few days. First, I came across some US-marked C-clamps... looks like they've been rattle-canned yellow, but that's okay I guess. $4 for the pair.

Also picked up a grinder shield for 50 cents. Hopefully it'll fit mine.

Then I went to a closeout store, snagged a Lufkin 50' tape ($15), an Ideal 110 punchdown tool ($30), two 500-packs of Middle Atlantic rack screws for a ridiculous price ($10 each, these things normally sell for around $100 each).

At another flea market today, I picked up a 10" Ridgid pipe wrench for $5. Then I found a guy with a small pile of Snap-On stuff, most of it new in the box. I've been looking for a good e-torx set, and he offered his for $60. I tried to talk him off that price, but he was firm. I looked up list price, it's $127.30 so I don't guess that's so bad.

Here's the whole haul.

Hopefully they won't pick a fight with my SK stuff. :D
