My driver has them on his truck. I may get them because I realized my only strippers are for solid wire.

They are nice. I picked up a green set after reading an earlier post on this site.

Nothing against Snap On but do they make them in any other brands? I would buy a pair if they were Klein. Plus, IDK how big your paws are but those look small, can you get good leverage to crimp connects like you can with Klein?

I got a set a month ago after the thread on this forum. Haven't used them yet.

Apparently they are still out there to be bought. IDK why SO would quit making something that is that popular.

My paws are small. I wear a medium glove. These will be perfect for tight spots. The buses I work on are wiring nightmares.

I find the stripping in the middle causes me problems,My Klein's strip at the tip, much better for short wires. The crimping side looks really good!

I've had a pair for about 2 yrs now, my go to wire strippers. Yes they are quite small and it comes in handy getting in tight spots. But yet there's a lot of leverage when crimping. Anyone know why SO stopped production?

I ordered mine off SO's website for $42 on 11/17 after seeing them on the other thread also. One of my very rare impulse purchases and glad I did now that it appears they've stopped production. I'm extremely happy with them so far!

Nice, I tend to stay away from the books and truck at school. Get a discount, but I don't want to end up going broke quite yet.

I've found they don't actually crimp all that well on the insulated dies due to the stop for the wire stripper. Really small and super handy though.

i use the hell out of mine; they are very handy for in a dash
i do agree with transittech sometimes they made bad crimps on insulated terminals; i might grind my stops down to help with that
my snappy driver thought i was crazy when i asked about them and has sold 50 pairs since i told him about them

Hoping to get a pair today when the SO truck stops at my friends work. I've found them on eBay for $55-60 or included in the 3 piece plier set

One of the guys at work has a set, to me they seem kinda small for a 12-10 insulated terminal, do they work ok on those?

Aside from the new part number only difference is they are $1 cheaper. They are now $42
