I call it Mini Mr. Big. I just got the black KRL761 in nice condition with very little use for $1500. I couldn't find a 791 top and I didn't want to pay retail on a matching side box for $2000.

I forget who is the maker of those but I have the 3 piece set. It's rebranded under a bunch of names including snap on I believe.

Company called A&E Tools makes this. As you surmised, they make them under contract for just about everybody. Their private label is "KASTAR".

Picked up a Snap On TLL72 1/4 ratchet 9" long

snaponratchet2.jpg

USA stamped

Picked up this gun that was used and broken. Took it apart and found one lug burnt up on the trigger switch. Installed a new trigger switch kit and it's working again. LED doesn't work but for $80 w/trigger kit I'm fine with it. Maybe I figure out how to fix that later. Definitely getting an 18V battery for it.

Here's the old trigger assembly.

I've been eyeing these at the Outlets. Are these similar in length to the Gearwrench brand or are they long pattern like the CI full polish combination wrenches?

I dont own any gearwrench to compare them but they are the same length as the regular craftsman's.

Heres mine for today.

On the sockets, i reserved online from napa the older NHT sockets for $10.50 and when i showed up to get them the Carlyle ones were waiting for me and got them for the cheap price, normally $27. YMMV

I actually been looking for this exact set but couldnt find one that was USA made. At my local Sears they sell this ratchets and they are made in Taiwan.

I have 2 sets of CM ratchets at home and the only time selector switch has reversed on me was when I held ratchet by its ratcheting head, other than that they worked flawlessly.

I'd have chimed in here sooner if I'd have seen your post. The 80th sets pop up on ebay from time to time, it's how I discovered this one set I snagged. But if you search ebay for "craftsman thin profile ratchet" you'll come up with a lot of results. Digging through them you'll end up finding a set here and there that's the older stock USA COO. I just checked and there's surprisingly NOTHING right now. I know there were at least 2 sets just a couple of days ago.

I do know that supposedly the only way to find the USA ones anymore in the stores is either in the modules or in the tool sets.

My so guy only got two sets of the long hardhandle screwdrivers and one was red. I got on the truck and he had saved it for me. Than I got the last 3 powder blue screwdrivers from his truck.

The Christmas deal was for every $100 you got a Christmas card and inside was the name of the prize you won and a number of how many raffle tickets for the 50" flat screen.

He owed me a card from last week so I got 3 cards total. I won a pack of 4 can cozies, a winter hat and a dolanski race car.
