Here is a quick picture with a few draws out and the draw rest extended. Pretty sweet setup!

Even without the Worcester link we would have known this was in New England. The rest of the US calls those drawers. :D

Looks like an IBM punch-card cabinet my father owns. There is probably a handle at the back of each drawer to pick them up when loaded with punch cards. Makes one heck of a misc parts bin.

No handle in the back but it's probably something similar to that. It is really heavy duty. It was made in Worcester, MA which is less then 20 miles from me.

LoL.. I don't know how many times here in Tennessee I see craigslist ads in the furniture section for "Chester Draws".. Whoever Chester is... I always do a search for "Camero" stuff too. How people can spell the name of a car wrong is beyond me... the name is ON THE DAMN CAR !!! Also people can't seem to grasp the concept of using the word "sell".. They are always "saling" their stuff such as "must sale my truck". lolol Oh yeah.. cool cabinet. I'd have bought it too.

More evidence that I need to include misspelled stuff like "draws" in my CL searches.

I just did a search in the Chicago Craigs and used "draws" as the search term. Came up with at least 50 options. Guess you're right.

I love those older pulls Exiged, my card files have the newer handles like 1grnlwn's above. The cabinets rock, heavy as hell and built to last!

In the south, you'd get a pair of boxers if you bought a thing listed as 'draws' on craigslist. Sweet cabinet!

The film 'Idiocracy' was not fiction, it was a documentary!

Whoa, searching Craigslist for DRAWS does give me all kinds of new results I hadn't seen before. That's a great tip and I would have never thought of doing that on my own. I'll add it to Vice, the other often-misspelled word which can yield good results as well.

I bought the same one off CL a couple of years ago for $20 bucks. It is heavy, no doubt about it. Mine has roller drawers but no lock I don't think.

It came with a bunch of metal parts which I sold so I basically got it for free.

The name is something "Line". I can't remember.

Nice find.
