UPS decided at 1:22pm today to reschedule delivery to my SS recipient until next business day due to the holiday. It was out for delivery in Memphis before lunch.

Nothing received here yet. Not uncommon for delays getting through customs so I'm not too concerned. It'll get here later this week I'm sure. Hell I'm still waiting for the second part of my ss's gift that I bought from the US almost 3 weeks ago.

Just saw USPS out driving and delivering in my neighborhood. They are working late to make sure they deliver as much as they can it appears. They've gone past my house multiple times now. I got mine but there may be hope for others whom haven't received theirs yet.

USPS delivery confirmation shows my recipient received the package on 12/17 in Phoenix AZ. No word on here yet.

To my SS, I am out of town so don't worry that I haven't indicated receipt yet, unfortunately won't be home until the 29th.

I think a lot of these are in transit delays caused by the Midwest blizzard.

Fed-Ex announced they are moving again, but how many days are they behind now, and in the Xmas rush?

That was just media blowing it out of proportion. We had a few inches of snow and a slight breeze. It is winter after all. They make it sound like "thunder snow" is an odd thing.

Sweet! Can we call this the first opening? I"m way more excited to see/hear what my recipient thinks of his gift than I am to open mine. Merry Christmas everyone....looking forward to watching the openings.

I always open a gift on Christmas Eve so I couldn't wait to open mine. I received a Cat Ratcheting Screwdriver from catsteve. Also received a nice letter attached with the screwdriver. Thanks a bunch catsteve and hope everyone has a joyous holiday season.

I have not recieved mine YET but with the weather and possible distance i'm not worried . My recipient has not posted he recieved his yet so we are in the same boat I just sent my recipient a PM to let him know it is on the way. I sent mine last monday and it is going to Canada so it is probably going to be late

well i got home today and had some packages. i have been buying stuff on ebay for gifts so i have been getting a bunch of packages lately. i opened one up and said to myself, "when did i buy this?" thats when it hit me.. i had opened my secret santa gift. i didn't think anything of it because it wasn't marked secret santa and it had an ebay label like i am used to.

anyways, sorry to the gj for my inadvertent mistake. BUT a HUGE thanks to my secret santa whoever you are!! i love my pick and hook set! and what can i say my first snap on tool!!! thanks secret santa!! will post pics soon!!

i just purchased my gift for my recipient. it took me a while to find something good. its getting shipped to my place and i will be sending it out shortly.

Just got home from a hectic family get together.... Man, am I glad to be home. Had a package from "GJ Santa" at my front door as well. Can't wait to tear into this thing in the morning.

As far as those who have not received anything as of yet. It's pretty sad that you won't be able to open up your gift tomorrow. Seems like every year, someone gets screwed and doesn't get their package in time to open on Christmas day...

Let me be the first to say that if you are one of the unlucky ones that end up getting boned, I'm more than willing to throw some things together and send your way.

Well, it is now Christmas morning. So as I sit and drink my coffee before going to work, my first order of business is to open my SS gift. A huge array of Stanley screwdrivers. Looks like 11 in all. Looks like somebody knows about my screwdriver fetish. Luckily, I have a tool box fetish as well and have plenty of room for these. Thank you Secret Santa whoever you are! Merry Christmas to all!!!!!!!

So its Christmas morning on our side of the pond! I sincerely hope that the packages for the guys left out right now, will arrive soon. This was my first time participating and it was awesome. I just opened my package and what a surprise. I didn't expect it to be this cool. I got a whole set of vintage Snap-on ratchets and two cool towels!! They will be put to good use, since I didn't own a descent 1/2" ratchet yet. Many thanks to my SS! There was no name or note but I think I know who it was. Hope my guy will be as happy with his gifts as I am right now.

Well my Secret Santa did real well by me this year!

I got what I would describe as a "care package" of the things we are always looking for, that included a MAG lite (I love those!!!), a smaller LED flashlight, a tape measure, a pair of needle nose pliers, and an changeable bit driver.

Just opened my SS gift, and it's great. I posted in the "helper" thread how I liked clever and neat things. I got a nice note with a handful of cool decals, but more importantly my first set of Wera screwdrivers. I've been looking at these a lot lately, wanting to try their unique handle. These things feel great in your hands. Can't wait to give them a shot. Thanks Kevin, Quick86!

opened mine this morning. my ss was Ray-CA. thanks a lot! got a cool new ford hat ( really needed a new one, my wife threw my old one away,lol ) , cars in barns calender, i love that web site , and a new 3/8" wright ratchet. awesome gifts! thanks again Ray

Wow ! I was spoiled this Christmas !

First gift under the tree was a super nice Leatherman multi-tool from my wife !

Which I promptly used to open the USPS flat rate box from my SS, Ben Buck !

Inside I found a nice card and a thoughtful letter, along with a treasure trove of goodies !

- Battery tester
- Magnetic bit holder & a pack of Philips #2 bits
- LED light
- Inspection mirror
- Groovelock pliers
- Assorted old Ohio plates for garage art.
