Got a question

Recently got an air greaser is there a way of filling the now idle manual guns using the air greaser?

Was wondering what would happen if I removed the air valve and fitted a grease ******, pulled back the handle and attached air greaser?

Anyone ever solved this one successfully?

Why not just put a cartridge in it?

You need the air valve to expel air from the gun.

You might try refilling old cartridge and putting them in the gun.

Works fine, just don't pull the handle out. The grease will push the handle out and it's a good indicator of when its full. Also since all air valves on grease guns are **** and hardly ever work you can use this trick to prime any grease gun, load the grease gun however you please, hold the pumping handle down and unscrew the barrel from the top slowly until you hear the air come out.

The first shop I worked at used to get grease in the 120 lb. drums. It had an air pump on it and we all had zerk fittings on our grease guns and filled them like that

X2 on don't pull the handle out before filling. You don't want to introduce air into the system.

Swap the bleed valve for grease ****** you mean? Or drill and tap an extra hole in the head of the gun?
