My Secret Santa was Dodge610.

He sent me a nice card from his family and I appreciate the sentiment (especially this year, as this holiday season has been very difficult for us). Merry Christmas from our family to yours as well.

For the gift, he got me all things that I wanted and can really use: 3/8 impact sockets, std and metric, a mini screwdriver set, and a multi-meter he indicated came free with my sockets. I have a few meters around, so I'll stash this one in the glovebox of our car, just in case. I've been known to diagnose and fix various things on trips or vacations. :bounce:

Thanks a lot, dodge610, all the best to you and yours.

Don't know who my SS is, but I got a bunch of promo items and decals along with a 1/4 & 3/8 Kobalt ratchet.

Thanks to whoever you are.

00pewter, that was from me... I forgot to put the dang card in the box and didn't realize it until after I sent it! I meant to send the ratchets, and threw in a mix of the decals since you had posted you wanted in on the next sticker swap. and I figure that everyone can use a sharpie, a small screwdriver, and a bottle opener! Hope you enjoy!

I was gonna go with the "something old(hammers), something new(wrenches),something borrowed[couldn't figure out how to loan you something), something blue(drivers)"!

Hope you enjoy!

My Secret Santa summed up the entire experience with his letter tucked in the package all the way from the Netherlands. It reads:

"Dear Mark,

First off, happy holidays to you and your family.

This was my first time participating in the Secret Santa event. I enjoyed it very much. In these crazy times, its pretty cool buying some gifts for someone who lives an ocean away and I don't really know (yet). What I do know is that we share the same passion for tools, cars and garages and that is pretty cool.

I hope you enjoy your gifts. From your posts, I noted that you own some BMW's. I found a vintage Dutch brochure from the Bayerische Motoren Werke with hopefully your car in it (M635?). The other gift is at least in the BMW colors. In the Netherlands, we can easily get Hazet tools which I really like. I have the same exact set and it is really handy. I hope you will like them as well and can use them.

Keep wrenching!

Kind regards,
Geert Jan Kap"

Well Geert, you did GREAT! While Hazet tools might be easy for you to get in the Netherlands, they are pretty scare here in the US. And useful for me too, you know, with the Germans' passion for putting a torx fastener just about anywhere. The brochure is cool too and goes with the rest of my literature collection. And it has more than one of the fleet in it. :)

Again thank you, thank you, thank you from across the pond. And Happy New Year!

Mark aka Malaga

Thanks man. I just used one of the Lincoln electric decals on my snappy box. It's my first decal of there. Lol

well I got some cool stuff from my SS

I got an asortment of snap on stickers. funny thing about me is I used to collect the stickers from snap on back in the 80s and 90s but could never really bring myself to stick them on my box. so these will get added to this collection.
I also got an ALASKA shot glass that will go well with my shot glass collection.
I got a couple bottle openers which should come in handy when having a few beers with friends.
some of the other things are a T shirt to wear in the shop ( from alaska), an alaskian plate to go on the wall of the shop with the other plates. and an alaskian type of knife and cutting board
Im starting to think my secret santa may have spent some time in alaska.....
many thanks to Henry Crankshaw

Thanks to bparksntx for a Kobalt double drive screwdriver set! I can't wait to get out in the workshop and try it out. Merry Christmas!

(Sorry for the stock photo, my computer doesn't want to read the camera memory card right now.)

I got this bitchin' 4Sevens Quark tactical flashlight from SparkFarmer. It has a strobe, SOS light, and even a gentle "moonbeam" light for lighting small work areas.

I used it today to check radial play in my turbo on my F-250, and the lighting is incredible. Thanks to you again SparkFarmer for the thoughtful and very useful gift!

There was no name on the package. Thank you. I can always use a nice ratchet, and I use the 1/4" for the tight spots on my bike.

Thanks to Lump for the perfect gift! I know I'm probably one of the harder ones to shop for and he hit the nail on the head. I've got a few rusty patches on the doorjams and underside of my jeep that I've been too lazy / busy to fix, and now he's going to force my hand with a POR15 setup that I had been thinking about trying. I may have to drive over and beg for a POR15 lesson though!

I would have posted sooner but I've been snowblowing, roof shoveling, and playing with the kids so much that my evening internet time has slipped.

Once I prepared to take the photo tonight, I found the snap on playing cards. Bonus! I go through a few decks a month so they'll definitely get used soon!

Merry Christmas to Lump and everyone!

I would like to give a big "THANK-YOU" to my Secret Santa RickP330.

I received (2) ernst wrench holders, an ersnt screwdriver holder, the current issue of Dirt Rider magazine and a cool keychain made for snow skiing. As a bonus, he realized I primarily have Craftsman rachets so he is trying to sway me to the dark side by sending me one of his old Snap-On 3/8 ratchets!! I can't wait to give it a try as I have only ever used Craftsman.

I also got a nice letter to go along with the cool tools.

Thanks again RickP330 and everyone who put this together. This was my first time participating and will definatly do so again!

PS, if anyone has any additional information on the snow skiing keychain let me know.

You're very welcome, Boiler. I'm SO glad to learn that you like the gift. Come on over some time and I'll help you use it your first time...or just email if you like. That stuff is terrific, but it is not forgiving at all. You MUST use it exactly right to get fabulous results. If not, you'll get very poor results. Simple as that.
Merry Christmas to everyone on GJ.

Wow, I just opened the mail, this came all the way from Austria! It would have made it before Christmas if there was not a 20 inch snow storm before Christmas. Thanks Phobo amazing gift, I really like Wera and will smile every time I use it. It is a great thing being able to participate in the GJ Secret Santa thanks to all who set it up. :)

My SS gave me my first "set" of screwdrivers, a pretty cool no second guessing tape measure and a small led flashlight that I can't find at the moment. ( 5 year old daughter loves flashlights.) All three of these items are things I am constantly looking for around the house. Thank you Mike!!

Who knows?
My computer has been crashing on me lately so I might not be able to put a pic up here.

But my SS this year was Geologist. He sent me a bunch of cool stuff.

A brazing tip from Ireland, my first bit of welding equipment! Sounds like a good reason to buy a welder doesn't it? :bounce: Can't wait!!!

Also, received a great old Proto ratchet, a pair of really nice mechanic's gloves, a yankee screwdriver in very good condition, a can coozie, a liquid-air wrench and a fridge sticker that looks like the U.S.-of-A.

Thanks Again Geo!

Merry Christmas to everyone here. I will definitely be doing SS again next year!

Got my present from Tater today and it is awesome! I got a beasty pair of Knipex end nippers, 7" alligators, and a Knipex toy truck that is just too cool. I like it so much I cant decide where to display it.
I got a flat on the way to pick up the package and then found that my spare was flat too:sad:. Needless to say, this ss gift was the best part of my day.

Guessing there will be a bunch of us posting our gifts after the new year. The storms in the MidWest during Xmas didn't help, sounds like a lot of packages are running late. Be patient everyone, and optimist.

Got my package in the mail today! My SS, Scout Driver sent me a Knipex plier wrench (awesome!)and a "made in the USA" tape measure from Harry Epsteins (again, awesome!). The plier wrench will be a great addition to my assortment of German and other European tools that reside in the Assistent and funny enough, I had this measuring tape on my list for my next Epsteins order! Thanks so much to Scout Driver for the gifts and thank you to BWP and Luvit and anyone else that was involved for pulling this years Secret Santa event together! Happy holidays everyone!
