ID pos ratchet

I picked this up for a couple of bux. It has to be a Chinese ratchet. The build quality is awful. Its got the Pawl design and is held together by torx screws. Must have had a plastic handle at one point. Any ideas? Harbor Freight, Northern Tools? No ID that I can see on it.

Your suspicions are correct. It is indeed a POS ratchet.

Its the classic Plvmb/Proto design QR mechanism and once had a plastic handle. There are a few that consider that design to be better for the strength factor and can ignore the size.

That design has been made for 40 odd years by just about everybody including many asain companies.
Done well it can be near bulletproof.

I was gonna say distributor ratchet for adjusting the cooling jets on a 1.21 jiggawat Flux capacitor but I think you might have me beat.

Yeah, I think it might be a crescent too.

They have those why-are-these- holes-here-under the selector and the "tic tock" pawl style mechanism on the inside.

Holes are the pivot points/oiling points for the pawls
