I wish I could upload a pic by my phone, but I'll be damned...my Snap On 11mm wrench is missing the USA stamped on it. All the rest of my set has USA on it, and my Std. Set has USA on it but not my 11mm. Anyone else have this? I have a set of 10-19mm Flank Drive Plus.

That's interesting. I was wondering which size they'd start making in China, now I know. :D

I'll believe it when I see it. I don't think I've read any other threads about it.

If it's true, either it's a mistake, or Snap-on is trying eliminating the "USA" stamp again. I'd be surprised if they tried eliminating it again, after the outcry when they did it with the ratchets.

And, here's a thread that shows the date code markings:

Ill load it up on my computer at work tomorrow. I just noticed it going through pictures on my phone. I thought it couldn't be right so I went to my box to double check. Sure enough on the front it says 11mm on the ends and in the center where all the others say "Snap-on USA" The wrench just says Snap-on

I did notice my brand new F80 ratchet had no "USA" on it either. Their website states COO as USA, is this correct?

Well date code has no difference on this wrench. I came to realize my 11mm isn't a Flank Drive Plus. It's a standard combo wrench. Gonna have to swap it out next week.

The wrench is not cast, it's forged
And it's forged blank of any markings, markings are stamped in after broaching the ends to size

The date code would still be interesting to learn, given the lack of COO marking - be interesting to see if it's a new one, or from the no-USA-marked-F80 era, or what.

The New dual 80's at work do not say USA on them. I dont care what the website if they dont stamp it on the tool then they are pulling a fast one. I cant think of another tool I have that was claimed to be made in the USA but didnt have it on the tool.

No guys, I am a dumb a**. Haha I swore I looked that thing over and over. It doesn't match my other FDP wrenches because its not a FDP. It's a standard wrench, and USA is on the back side. I had a brain fart the other night. But, somehow I got a mispackaged wrench.

How come some SO tools do not have date codes on them? I have a full shorty Metric set from the 70's and none of them have date codes. (I know they are from the 70's because I know who purchased them)
