Just put the 3 pc ratchet you want in your cart. Watch the price, amazon will alert if it goes down or up. When the price becomes good then you can buy. Sometimes you can tease the site. Move it to Saved items then leave it there. Later move it again to your Cart. I have a funny feeling the site monitors these actions and if you do it often enough it might give you a price you may want to buy.

Right now I am watching 30 or so items waiting for the right price.

You can tighten it. The pin is a hex bolt on my full-polish version.

Yeah I tried it on one of the flex head ratchets I ordered. I wasn't sure at first because the end of the bolt looked mushroomed out but I got it to turn. Thanks for the feedback though.

I'm going to try that and see if it works.

Glad I got mine ordered last night. I wish I would have got the 28pc metric 1/2 inch kit when it was $34.23.

The pricing is crazy. I guess I'm not too surprised that the price went back up to $56. I actually used that Bill me Later coupon to get $5 off $25, so my total was about $32. Any of you guys use Bill me Later? Do you know if they will ship before I get my bill from Bill me Later?

The last time I used "Bill me later", I received an email after about 5 days telling me that it was not approved and I had to choose another payment method. As a result, the shipment was delayed by about two weeks.

BTW, I have a credit score of 730 plus, you might have better luck though.

No way. I hope it doesn't happen to me. I'm not worried about a delay as long as I get it at the same price.

i just got mines in the mail... some weirdo dropped it off.

seeing as how i have the same flex ratchet c-man in the pictures it was a easy comparsion.
I thought the soft grip of this would be more softer.

the spark plug lining looks interesting. i'm used to the rubber boot.

i'll see how it holds up in a couple of weeks.

I don't have the ratchet but I do have the KD 3 pc. plug socket set and have had it a couple of years, they do get into many spots that other stuff or combinations of stuff don't get in but the magnetic part only works on some plugs I have to use a magnet to get the plug out of the spark plug tube alot. The only magnetic plug socket that I own that always works is an old Champion Plug Mate socket with a full round large magnet in it but they only made those is 13/16 size

I notice a lot of bent handle ratchets are advertised as 'spark plug removal' ratchets. Anybody else notice this, and why?

My instructor told me that my SO bent-handle flexhead ratchet was designed by the Champion plug company years ago. Since joining this great board I've seen a few pictures of Champion branded ratchets in some postings. This board is a real treasure to me.

I didn't know what you meant when you said some 'weirdo' delivered it. That's funny. You are lucky you got yours so fast.

I just got an email saying it shipped today 9/17, but from lexington, KY.

I got mine today. It is a pretty nice set and it should work pretty well. The quality is good and I got it for a pretty good deal.
