Just reading a recent thread about cabinets and rather than muddy up his thread with slightly OT stuff I thought I'd start my own. This is for those of us who can't seem to say no to rusty dented old time gas & oil junk. There are plenty of threads about signs so this is more geared towards the "other stuff". My stuff is all jammed into the basement & carport at the moment until my new garage gets built next month. Show us what ya got ? I'll start.

More junk. Good to know those AC sparkplugs are good for 10k miles. I was worried about that.

Random ****....
Western wheels ? Cool shop. Very cool Vette. I just picked up these ET wheels for my Camaro. Guy took them off a wrecked Charger 35 years ago and stored them in the rafters of his shop. Uni-lugs so they'll fit most anything. I love that old junk that reminds me of my past.

rbonitz.....is that a new Mohawk lift in your photos? Very nice.

Yeah - that's the A7 - only a few weeks old. I got tired of stooping under the MaxJax. A great piece of equipment and made in the USA.

...But I hate those wheels - they showed up on a badly rusted frame that I bought with the Corvette body. They don't quite fit and are a real PIA to mount. I sold them with the frame and was glad to see them go.

Now those ET 5 spokes are cool....Remind me of torque thrusts (which I have put on more than one car). I also think most of the reason I have old junk is too remind me off the good old days.

Not at all. I'll take the blame for posting the pic of the ET brand Torque Thrust style wheels. Going to look at a set of vintage American Racing TT wheels this weekend. 14" set of 4, not sure how wide. I don't even have a car to put them on at the moment but... well you know...

Todays junk. Found the Dr Pepper machine & the Coke cooler on craigslist both from the same guy. The Coke cooler was someones unfinished trailer project and it's been gutted, top lid modified, etc. It will probably become a table for the shop. The Dr Pepper machine is missing the coin mech. and looks like it has sat outdoors a LONG time so it will likely get a cosmetic restoration and then not sure. I have seen some that were beyond repair turned into gun cabinets or it could be a cool liquor cabinet. Time will tell on that one as well but the price was right on the pair.

Considering that today is the Daytona 500 I thought it only fitting to come home from the local flea market with some racing junk. A trunklid off one of Kasey Kahne's 2011 Red Bull Sprint Cup cars. It's got a chassis number decal on the inside as well as another decal with a serial number so I'm going to attempt to research just exactly what race it was in. Got some racecar body panels from a couple of cars I owned a few years ago as well but at the moment they are stored in a shed at my son's place in NH.
