Looking OOS in SoCal, 1 showing in one store, 3 in another, almost always means gone gone gone.

HD gets in a batch of storage stuff right after the holidays, but when its gone, its gone for about half a year until the next big storage season.

These look very similar to a Storehouse container I have from HF, about $3 to $4 there, and I am thinking Stanley may have a similar as well.

They offer free shipping on orders over $45. Added like 12 from a store that shows 29 a little more than an hour from me and they automatically switch it to not avail. online. If I order 10 and my subtotal is less than $45 they offer shipping for $11 something and they have no problem shipping it to me on my dime. False advertising

That's BS

Another that does not like the fixed dividers! I picked up a couple 3 packs of the ones that have moveable dividers for $9 each right after Christmas at HD and like them much better.

My problem with the fixed dividers is that each compartment is too small to hold much of anything short of short screws & nuts.

Slightly OT to just shout out that I LOVE Plano boxes.

Out of stock at any nearby HDs for me.

I always mill out the rigid dividers that I don't want, to get custom boxes.

Soooo much better than the boxes sold at HarF.

Now I will have to buy some just to compare. The HF come in several types with the larger ones having the mix and match bins, and while a bit more expensive, are usually in stock.

Everyone does realize they were $8 before the sale right? I think these are the ones from the Blqck Friday display. I picked up a set at the regular price, since hey you can never have enough Plano boxes. They are not nearly as good as the Stanly FatMax ones, but good enough for a lot of things.

Website says adjustable dividers but I'm reading here that they're fixed? Are they indeed fixed? Found 4 within about 13 miles of me but already have a bunch of fixed divider boxes. Really wanted some adjustables.

2 of the boxes have 4 dividers, the other two have 8. They are all fixed, no option for more dividers. Hope this answers some questions

Orange CAL store on Tustin (yes we have TWO in this little town) shows one online, found zero in the store tonight and still shows one online.

They had similar looking ones, and I have to wonder if they didn't break open some packs to sell them at the MUCH higher individual prices. The 3 sizes I think I saw on the shelf were; 9", 11", and 14", with the latter at least removable dividers.

Looking over what was on the shelf, I like the HF more, better tougher plastic I think.

I find the locking tabs on the Harf boxes painful to operate. The Plano boxes open respectably with no pain.

My love is unrequited. Still OOS at my local store.

I was at Lowes today, more of the same sort, Stanley and Stackon. None of the smaller boxes or really any of the storage at Lowes appealed to me.
