So, the wife is out of town and I went on a shopping spree and I am pretty stoked. On Friday I went to pick up my almost new looking JD2 Model 3 tubing bender with 3 dies - 1, 1 1//8 and 1 3/4 inch with a stand all for 600 bucks. And it really does have everything - even all the pins which I thought would be missing.

Then, today I was looking for a band saw to, you know, cut stuff that I am going to bend. I was on the jet site and I thought the small horazonal and vertical band saw would be great to start, but I have never seen one on CL. I go out to look and the first hit, been on there less then an hour was the exact saw I was looking at on the jet site, in almost new condition - HVBS-56M. 200 dollars later I have it in my garage.

How often do the exact 2 things you are looking to buy, come up on CL 2 days in a row priced cheap? My lucky freaking day and wanted to share.

WOHO! Found a new air compressor at searsoutlet.com - Ingersoll-Rand 20 gallon on amaon for 569 for only the grand total of 357! So in 4 days I got a new bender, a band saw AND a brand new air compressor all for the total of 1182 dollars, SWEET!

We are getting ready to build a new house and my wife saw this architect on line and said she really likes some of his stuff. I told her, with a bit of money I could build some of the stuff, like the door pulls and door hardware, and she liked the idea. So, it will be mostly for the house, and then the new garage that comes with the house. My wife jokes that I want a garage with a house attached.

When I do get the new garage up it will be for building my next car, which I don't know what that is yet.

Almost sure that tubing bender was the same one advertised over on the HAMB site a month or so ago. Good score on both items.

Very cool, I looked and looked and could not really find any info or good reivew, so you saying you love it makes my day man!

I am actually stoked, I cleaned up the surface rust and cut something just for fun and it really worked well.

What blades do you run? Where you buy them? Any info would be great, thanks!

My wife is very cool about it actually. We just went and looked at house just because it had a 40x60 building on it

She had the worst luck with cars and sense she married me she has never had a flat, never been stranded so when I say I would like something she just tells me to buy it, and that is cool!

Do you know what they had for a price? I looked up just the die's and it looks like they would be about 600 just for them, so I think I got the bender, stand and degree wheel for free.
