yeah, i saw that, congratulations

Thank you, thank you. I'd like to thank my family.. for not intervening. Snap-on for making this and my exchange rate for making it all possible!

Moose, are you getting that to send as a thank you to your shipper? Something we should know about? LOL

I dunno why, i just wanted one. Kinda cool in an odd way. I have no issues with my ********* if that's what you're wondering. I'm thinking of putting this handle on a ratchet. :)

Unless you were buying top of the line screwdrivers for your wife, why would you want pink handles? :wtf:

I think he'll get exctied over this one. I am! I think it'd be good on a ratchet, certainly something different that's not been done before. Maybe this is modifyly tools in a new way?

Because it's something a little different and unusual. I like it. :)

I got tired of buying sets of snap on picks years ago.It seemed everybody in the shop would eventually end up with my picks. One day I was on the truck and all he had was pink handled picks so I bought a set.I still have 3 of the 4 picks from that set 5 yrs later. It seems none of the guys wanted to borrow the pink ones.

Its just pink.. not rainbow colored ones :pimpflash:

But yeah.. thats a great way to prevent confusion of ownership of tools

You're not the only one thinking there's something wrong with that. But I guess it's a collectible, which makes it okay.

I agree. I just keep bidding on black handle stuff and winning, letting the colored handles go to the guys who want to drop rediculous money on them.

I wonder what the set I have would bring. Pink ratcheting screwdriver, slip-joint pliers and kitchen shears. Bought off the truck as a gift for my wife.

...Naahh...she'd kill me...

However, I am now wondering if anyone has ever tried that vinyl/upholstry spray on their handles, for id purposes?
That wouldn't last long if it was hit with brake clean or lacquer thinner.

I like pink as much as the next guy :)lol:), but $61 for a single screwdriver is just retarded. Sorry... but over here $61 buys groceries for a week.

Over here $61 feeds me for two days. That's one small trip to the supermarket and lunch for two days. That's as far as it goes. Besides, if you don't like the price, don't bid up to it.

Wow. I thought grocery prices were getting high here. $3.50 for a gallon of milk, $10 for 2 1/2 pounds of coffee, and $9 for a freaking chicken.

Not only can I not afford to drive to the store, I can't afford to buy anything once I'm there.

If I wanted that screwdriver badly enough, I would have paid the price. I have a few things I probably paid too much for.

I've never paid "too much" for anything. If it cost too much, i wouldn't have bought it. :)

Cost of living in London is horrendous. The other day i went to the supermarket, i bought a couple bottles of iced tea, two bags of chips, couple packs of pancakes, small bottle of maple syrup and some Bonjella (ulcer anaesthetic). Cost me $39. with the exception of the maple syrup and the Bonjella that all lasted me 3 days, and i had to buy lunch those days too. Money don't go far.

What's the maple syrup for, Moose? I told you I'm not shipping her to you until I get my f****** plate tub!

I got nothing against pink, in fact I bid on that screwdriver up to $41 and almost knew for sure that I would get outbid. It (and any other pink SO item) would make a great and valuble addition to any collection. Maybe the next one that comes along I'll go higher...who knows. They don't seem to be very common is all I'm saying.

The price for a Snap On screwdriver is ridiculous. But $61 for a screwdriver is just insane. If you think it is worth it though, go for it. I guess if I had money to burn and $61 is pocket change it wouldn't matter to me either.
