I bet 90% of those guys on slickdeals have no idea what a hammer drill is used for. Reading comments on the thread was humorous - one guy asked if he could use it for drilling holes in drywall to hang pictures. I know I'm just a little bitter but damn, 250 drills in a couple hours? Those people are ridiculous.

It was listed in Ebay daily deals which is probably why it sold out. Says they only had 250 available. I snatched one up two days ago. Dunno what I will use it for but at least I will have it. As an alternative, here is a Skil for $37:

meh, hammer drills cant really do much more (if any)than a regular drill. Save your cash for a SDS or rotary hammer. I picked up an unused open box bosche Bulldog with 6 BNIB bits for less than $100. Worth every penny

I have this Milwaukee 5262-21 model:

I'm very happy with it. It's very similar to the Bulldog except for Milwaukee's "unique" approach to vibration control. It's very light weight which is how Milwaukee chose to approach vibration control rather than an active vibration control system like Bosch. It was cheaper than the Bosch and seeing that I only use it occasionally it made sense. I'm not going to go as far as saying it's as good as the Bulldog, because it isn't, but it is a very nice tool nonetheless.
