Purchased a Chas. Parker Vise recently. It's in very good condition but could use some TLC.

Would it increase or decrease the value if I were to do a proper restoration?

Also would be interested if anyone might know what the value would be?

It was purchased along with some other equipment so I'm not into it too badly.

It won't hurt its value to restore it, if you do a proper job of it. Its true value is in its daily use. Don't be concerned with monetary value if you are going to keep it.

Great point!! And, you won't get rich selling it either. Again, jaw condition is as important as anything. Certainly a great user vise as is.
