Perhaps his '0' is sticky? I did once see a vise like this who's owner claimed it was made in the USA. It was clearly older, but I was not in a position to verify the make. Either way, I certainly wouldn't pay $500 for it. Not even close. The most I have paid for a vise to date was $5 and that includes the Wilton Mini Bullet.
