I'm tempted to go for some of those ultra thin cut off disks .. but I've had disks explode in my face before. How do I know these aren't cheap chinese knockoffs with a fancy label?

There is a Klingspor plant is here in town. I went to find some rather large sheets of course grit for a project before work one morning.
The manager took me for a tour before they opened the plant, after I explained what I was looking for (12" x 60" 80 grit & the same in 120 grit ) he gave me a mix of 10 large pieces of cut offs and joint tape for nothing!!
I was amazed.. they have everything and every type of abrasive to make belts discs you name it.
I will be ordering a bunch of 1" x 42" belts soon ..

says they are made in germany. I live in victoria so i might get it out first hand. Maybe rob needs a "tester"

awesome. I've been looking for quality wheels. I had a mastercraft wheel come apart and blow a hole in my leg last summer. 8 stitches late... I will never use cheap wheels again. It's only a deal until you get hurt.
