Got a package in from Epstein's today..All USA goodness... Channelock 8" slip-joints, a 6" Allen adjustable and a Wilde headlight spring tool. The headlight tool will come in handy when I finally start to rebuild the Mustang...

Starrett and Mitutoyo would be your best bet.

I'll never understand digital calipers or micrometers.

I dont want digital, I prefer dial with just decimal measurements. I prefer them without fractions on them. I dont like replacing batteries. I will keep an eye out. Its on my wish list just havent foud one I want yet.

Is there a need for that long of a 1/4"? Not poking fun, was considering if theres even a need for a regular tl72, but if you have an even longer one there must be?

it's a 1/4 drive, if you are torquing till handle flex, you are doing it wrong. :D

it shouldn't flex. I might order one.

does this thing feel strong, or does it flex at all?

To answer all: 1410 series PTO drivelines - 7/16" 12 point bolts that are torqued to 55 ft lbs (plus locktite) and hardly any room for 3/8 drive tools to get to. I saw this ratchet was rated for 90 ft lbs, so I figured I'll give it try when that job comes in again.

Had a few bucks to blow so i hit the local HF. I did a fuel pump last week I could have used these then and I am always doing brakes so the long reach caliper will get used. The Go-Through sockets go into the "just in case" drawer. i have gotten away without them for a lifetime and now waiting for a situation to arise that needs them. The extra long extensions will just get added to the many i have already.

SO website says its for reach, AND: Strength: Provides up to 90 ft. lbs. Of ultimate torque to help break loose rusted and seized fasteners faster and easier.

90 ft lbs is quite alot for a 1/4" drive, this is WHY im asking about flex. i dont want to drop $ on an item that is supposed to be strong enough for 90ft lbs, but ends up being ****.

I see your concern as snap on ratchets are known for being **** :eyecrazy:
I tighten my lug nuts with it!

No but really it is an awesome ratchet for working in tight engine bays. I doubt I really pushed mine anywhere near 90 ft lbs though. But I never noticed any flexing and never thought or worried about it either.

Got my tool allowance on my last paycheck so decided to actually use it on tools this year. I have the 3/8" snap-on digital torque wrench and have been eying the 1/2" version for a long time. Finally pulled the trigger and picked on up. Also a new proto chisel and Ajax air hammer bit as well as some flux

Green hammers!!! I also bought the EZRED 1/4 ratchet/bit ratchet. This thing is long!!! Its just about an inch shorter than my FHLF80. It really came in handy while doing a timing belt change on my buddies Mazda Millenia 2.3 last night (what an over engineered engine by the way)
The cutting oil is WAY bigger than I expected it to be. I was thinking it would be the same size as a craftsman air tool bottle, not about 20 oz or so!
I picked up the Snappy hex keys to replace my noname taiwans. I like the 1/4 driver, but not the 1/4 stubby driver. Its very lightweight and doesnt seem like Snap-on quality. The website had a picture of a hard handle, and an instinct arrived instead. Oh well.

This is my latest a set of three T-handle spinners in 1/4",3/8" and 1/2" drive.I have never heard of Geiger brand before so this is a try it and see,The black collars on each handle are a grip mounted on roller bearings with a locking collar which when slid back allows the grip to be positioned in several places along the handle.
