I have a set of the Pittburgh pro and regular Pittsburgh wrenches, and I prefer the pros. They seem a little heftier and well-made than the regular ones. Of course, for $7, I could live with either.
Do you guys prefer these over the Kobalt polished set? I'm using the Kobalt as my beater ones and I'm quite happy with them. One time, I replaced a water pump using nothing but Kobalts for the combination wrenches. I was happy with them.
i buy the 7 dollar sets so i can grind, bend, heat and twist and not boohoo about it later
they arent bad wrenchs
the heads are slightly tapered making them perfect for backup wrenches on caliper slide bolts
Not a hot deal.
Most of the time there is a coupon for $6.99. Occasionally you can find them for $5.99.
I have a set. They are low grade wrenches, made in India. Pretty much any wrench-shaped object will turn a fastener in easy conditions. These will as well.
