There are 7 Vidmar Cabinets (30W x 40D x 44.5H) sitting in/under an open shelve bracket arrangement (about 10' high total by 17' long) up for auction down at the Stennis Space Center just east of Slidell, LA. Auction closes in 2 days, currently at $487 with only 3 bidders. I am not familiar with these extra deep cabinets and I have not inspected the sales item personally. There is also a second picture attached to the sales site showing 4 more cabinets of varying heights (6 drawer). These may also be included in the lot #, but I'm not sure.

Could be a great buy for someone closer to that area. I hope this link works for you.

Good luck!!!

Well, I tried to open that link from my above message and it did not work. The site is gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/gsaauctions/ then go to the bottom left hand side of the site and Browse By Location, select Mississippi, and the cabinets are on the 2nd page.

Typical gvt. ran site, can't bookmark a page or link to any of them. Thanks for the link I found some other close by stuff that may be buying. If anyone is interested there are hundreds of knives for sale in CO, mainly swiss army and leatherman style.

Wow, if you get all the cabinets in the picture for one price thats amazing. someone on here is going to get one stellar deal. wish it wasnt going to be a huge deal to drive from MO, i would get them and bring them back, and sell a few to pay for all of them that i kept.

My bid didn't make, and since I would have to bring in my own forklift, it's a little too steep for me. Good luck to whoever wins it, if you're a GJ'er. I'd be glad to buy one or two of those from you!

I would also be in for 2 if a GJer wins this. I would not have had room to store all of them while I attepted to re-sell the rest if I had gone for the group lot.
