They are rebrand taiwan made tools, same as KS tools and other big box house brands. They are decent tools.

I think they have the same 72t ratchet the BGS sells. Which is pretty much the same as the kolbalt 72T ratchet form the US big box lowes.

They are good tools, will do the house hold stuff without any issues.

First sound from you is good.
I'm in the process of remodelling my two garages and in time I want to buy a new toolcart filled with tools.
I have a lot of tools at the moment but most of them are in pretty bad shape.
Now I found a nice deal http://www.gereedschapland.nl/product/2156/gereedschapwagen,-7-laden,-308-delig?categoryid=188 for a kraftwerk toolcart filled with some 308 tools of all kind, sure I would love to buy Snap-on or Hazet (my two favorites) but that would cost about 5 times more at least.

That looks to be a be complete kit. That is a bit different form the kraftwerk I've seen. Not the quick release version they normally package with their kits. But it looks to be a very nice kit.

I would also check some of you local big box stores. Bauhaus always have some kits with a tool cart. Not sure if they are in the Netherlands.

If they are in Germany, they can not have a lifetime warranty. Illegal to claim lifetime warranty. But 30 years is more like it. That is what snap on does in Germany.

possible, don't know the exact terms, but i know that the dealer told me whenever a tool breaks / wears out (of course with the right handling / treatment), he'll replace it no questions asked.

Bauhaus is a good idea  I should go check it out they are in Würselen which is some 45 minutes from here, so that is not to far.
Thanks for the tip :)

Think bauhaus carriers a matador set with a matador cart for 1000 euro or something like that. It does not have as many tools as the kraftwerk. But think most most of matador stuff is made in Germany.

If I were spending 1400 euro on tools in a single purchase, I think I would look at Stahlwille/gedore/hazet. With that budget it really is within reach. I'm flipping through my copy of Stahwille's deals, and for around the same money you can have a very similar set, but of stahlwille quality. I'm sure nothing is wrong with kraftwerk, I have no grudge against Taiwan stuff(I'm a kobalt fan) but you could get some prime tools with that kind of money. Though surely, it all depends on what mileage you're looking to get out of it(pro or household stuff)

Je kan de stahwille catalogus bij brezan halen, de set 1500 TCS met een mooie kist is ongeveer even duur.

So Google has all the answers and pictures....and damn that stuff looks good, could be a very good option.
I downloaded the catalogue already.
Thanks for thinking with me

Stihawille, will be in the 2700+ range like hazet and gedore with a cart. What you can do is just get the tools and go buy a cart at bauhaus for about 400 euro.

Yeah I'm looking at the Stahlwille stuff all afternoon and I think if I want the same variety in tools I will be in the same pricerange as Hazet.
Although I must say I really like the Stahlwille stuff, but I also like the Kraftwerk stuff which is more in my budget so :dunno: should have been a millionaire ;)
I will go to Bauhaus next saturday, I've never been there so I think that is going to be very interesting (hope I can go without the wife ;))

They have an inexpensive wisent box with tools in it about 500 euros, and they have the matador box that was about 900 euros with tools. Went to pick up some hobby wood for a little project, and looked at the tool section as I always do.

That is the worst thing about those stores. I can really spend allot of time in their power tool section personally. The metabo stuff is quite nice.

I like makita stuff. But I am have blue bosch in 18v and 12v. Once you get into a battery system, you really do not want to add different ones. But the blue bosch are pretty expensive in Germany.

Blue Bosch is perfect stuff too and yes they are pretty expensive here in The Netherlands too.
I have lots of Green Bosch stuff (not as good as the Blue, but it does the job) but most of it has suffered a lot now with the renovation of our house and the remodeling of the garages.
I plan too exchange all my powertools for Makita in the (near) future, just have to win the lotto first ;)

makita stay with the blue/green over the white ones. They are the better ones. The white is gear toward the consumer.

you can check out the matador tools at www.matador.de They are good tools as well. When you go to bauhaus, you will see all the wera and matador tools, and the house brand wisnet.

I did download the catalogues of Matador I think they look very good too.
I'm getting more and more anxious to get to Bauhaus, thanks for another great tip.
I'm studying Matador now

I have a 3/8 Kraftwerk ratchet. I paid 86,50€ + 21%taxes for, here in Belgium. They are nice tools and they are three lines of tools in their range. Kraftwerk Hightech, Kraftwerk Junior and Kraftwerk racing.
The racing line looks really cool.

Yes the racing line is their coolest line I think so too.
I really like the price/quality/looks/warranty on this tool brand, it has a high ranking on my wishlist, although I must say the before mentioned brands Matador and Stahlwille look really nice too.
It makes it harder and harder to choose.

Greetings to Belgium and thanks for your reply

it´s not as flashy as the Kraftwerk set but offer the same quality at a better price, backed up by Gedore as a tool manufacturer who knows what they buy and sell since they can test the tools they sell whether they make them or just distribute them like Carolus...:)
Punches + Chisels are even from Germany, wrenches might be too (at least in the past...), rest is Taiwanese.

You also have Force tools that are in the mid price range.

Thanks man,
never heard of Force tools but they sure look nice and affordable :).
I downloaded the Kraftwerk tool catalogue from their website so I have every info on that stuff, but hey thanks for your effort
As said before I'm getting deeper and deeper in the jungle, the problem is they are all nice tools.
I still have a very small preference for Kraftwerk, but only very small :dunno: why?
