I just need to decide on a NG heater and get it fired up. That should fix the problem. So much to do, so little time....

It's a nice fridge, but has a serious lack of ice storage in the ice maker. They do supply a bin in the freezer to store it up though. The blue lights inside are cool also.

It's the new LG 31 cubic foot model BTW.

We moved in the middle of December and still working on getting cleaned up and organized.

Did manage to get the garage heater done. Just need to figure out where to mount the thermostat. I'm thinking that right be the door going into the house is the best idea. I'm hoping it will pull some of the moisture out of the slab so I can get the floor done. Still getting 13% readings. :(

Had the beginning of a driveway done. The mud was killing me.

Had to have a tree cut down and the stump pulled since it was a guarantee that my wife would hit it.

Few loads of recycled concrete base.

The snow we got kept them from finishing it up and starting the paver edges and walkways.

No where near enough beer glasses. You have made a lot of friends here and we are waiting for the invite.

I have a full 1/2 keg. Swing on over. I'll have enough glasses for the crowd.

What ! I got an invite some time back. Although the yellow room may make me feel a bit odd after a few beers :).

That's a prime example of "it will be ok once it dries". It's like looking into the sun!

Very very nice home. Congratulations on a fine build.

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with the house overall. It's almost three times the size of the house we replaced and costs much less to operate.

You're moved in, glad to hear that. Can you walk around in the dark yet with out bumping into things ?

Getting better, but still have a few bruises. Still keep flicking the wrong light switches and turn on lights in adjoining rooms. :)

Where did you get the kegerator from? How has it been for you?

WOW!!!!!!!!

Just went through all 13 pages of this build. In credible.

You and your wife went the extra mile and included many really high quality extras. The tile, stone, ceramic is super.

But, I think you'll be doing some interior repainting in the future.

Too bad about the convert, keep us updated.

Oh yeah, let us know what happens with the tax man and property reassessment. Looks like you have the most expensive house in the neighborhood. If possible, don't let the taxman through the front door. If he sees what's inside, his eyeballs will look like a digital calculator. I've always been of the mindset that what's in the house in none of their business. Some cities/towns/counties think otherwise.

It was easy to assemble and easy to get setup and ready to drink. I've had a 1/2 keg for 6 weeks and it's still drinkable. I got a full stainless version since it would be in the house. I had the smae people who delivered the appliances get it for me.

Haven't heard from the tax man yet, but can't wait. :D

Just read the entire post. Great work and like others have said, modular has come a long way!

Thanks so much. We are very happy with the final results.

A little progress on the walkway and retaining walls.

Also had all the gutters and sump pumps run down into a drain pit.

The white PVC 90° with the furnco, is that the gutter drain ?

The one coming out under the porch is one of the sump pumps. I've been kinda shocked how much water it's moving. The other pump doesn't seem to ever turn on. That one is close to the garage and now wonder if thats the reason I'm having such moisture issues with my garage slab.

Nice job on the retaining wall. My hands are sore from just looking at the snow on the ground and thinking about building something like that in that weather.

I wish I could take credit for it, but I don't have nearly enough talent to do that type of work. I used the same guy who is doing my driveway. It's too cold to pave, so they do other work this time of year.

Looks awesome, how did they retain the border (soldier row)? Is there retaining plastic under the sand?

They are going to come back and back fill It with cement. They told me they don't like to use the plastic or even metal edging. It just needs to warm up a bit.
