More details: http://toolguyd.com/milwaukee-m18-fuel-brushless-impact-wrench/

3/8" with friction ring, 1/2" with ball or pin detents.

Max torque on 3/8" is 200 ft-lbs, max on 1/2" is 210 lbs. Both have 3 torque-limiting settings. Max speed is 2400 RPM.

ETA March, no details on pricing.

Kits will include compact or XC batteries of new capacities (2 & 4 Ah).

Any q's? Both are "compact" models, but 2400 in-lbs seems like plenty for their size. These are more meant for construction types than mechanics, but tools don't discriminate.

A Milwaukee rep told me the 3/8" is already out. Still eish they came out with a brushless version of the high torque gun.

You know the ETA for the Bosch CORE impact with the dual chuck? :bounce:

No firm timing yet, but it's not going to be before "late spring." I'll have dig into my inbox to see if there's anything more specific.

My feeling is that the product was announced so early as a strategic marketing move. I believe it's already out in Europe.

Here's my preview from Nov for anyone unfamiliar with Bosch CORE - http://toolguyd.com/bosch-core-brushless/

It was "coming soon" for the longest time, so I probably missed the launch.

The 3/8 is definetly out, I almost ordered it but opted to order the previous model with the light and drill for the same price as just the single impact.
