how do i get picts on here im new at this

One way to do it is to load the pictures onto your computer, then hit the attachments button in reply mode (looks like a paperclip). Hit "choose file" from the popup window that appears and find and click on the pictures you want to upload from your computer. Then just hit upload and post the reply.

Edwardm Hi and welcome to the GJ.

Just a heads up I have been seeing yours post on CL ,but from where you reside to "COW-Town" might be just to far to drive (gas alone would not make the trip worthwhile).

I think you might have better luck selling them on E-bay or on the GJ.

A member has a SO 1 1/2" drive ratchet for sale in the classifieds but has the correct handle for it also.

Since SO doesn't sell this ratchet or handle anymore that really lowers the value on yours with no handle. Another member was looking for cover plate screws for his 1 1/2" ratchet head and SO no longer carries the correct ones or the ratchet repair kits! Tools in this drive size have always been supplied by my employers and I wouldn't really be in the market for these tools--collectors usually look for tools in better cosmetic shape.

We need to cut him some slack he only wants some information, when I first looked at his ad several days ago I was not interested because I could see it was missing the handle and he was just to far from my area.

I give him a ton of credit for finding the GJ and wanting information to be a more informed seller.
I hope he stays and adds more insight and knowledge to the GJ, I don't care about the spelling...

What happened to my long post from earlier? :headscrat

Anyway if you want to check the year on your ratchet head

1 1/2" drive

http://collectingsnapon.com/index.php?page=socket_sets/JOneandahalf/1 and a half drive 1937-1978

3/4" drive

http://collectingsnapon.com/index.php?page=socket_sets/G3-4inchdrive/3-4ratchets

Search ebay for extensions and ratchet heads.

Like others said the items seem to be in rather rough shape. Craigslist is mostly for users, not collectors. Therefore trying to get top dollar will be hard without ebay.

I have also heard that snap on has a real hard time warrantying large items such as that unless you can prove original ownership. Thus really hurting their resale value.

Still wondering where my original post went?

you guys are going to call me insane and I would not blame you for one second; even the op's county is not in Logan,Ohio (his was in Hocking County) but the pictures remind me of the some of the op's truck bed...Strange how some other person (see above post for large snap on tools for $1500.00 dollars) looks eerily similar...

Woody it's the same guy. If he's gets 500 for that stuff I'm listing some stuff as well! lol I've got some hudge craftsman, hudge pittsburgh and I think some hudge SK. The Pittsburgh guy said my hudge ratchet is 1700. So $1700 or best offer over $5. Thanks guys! :lol_hitti
