7mm snapon ratchet.

Hey everyone I need help. What do you know about a military made snap-on 7mm ratchet. I have heard it was for military, and that the coating was to prevent rust, but please tell me what you know.

1944 is marked with "E" and 1945 is marked "G". I had one a few years ago and I really was surprised how small it was.

ah I was not sure. I took a caliper to it and it was 7mm and the adapter and wrench both have 7mm on it. I was just guessing though. Keep it coming, I know very little about snap-on I am a proto/plvmb guy.

I cant quite make out the date code on the ratchet, but thank you so much for the help already. Yea it is a midget m-70m.

You can get a 1/4" drive rebuild kit to convert it if you wish to use it. Just keep the old gear should you choose to sell it.

I have issues selling tools, I am much better at buying them. I also really like having the unique size, I have plenty of other 1/4 in drive ratchets. Thank you for that tip though!
