I had to disconnect the circuit board to get behind it, and cant remember how the wires went back. I cant remember if the second red wire was with the yellow or one of the whites...

i had them arranged in order of how they went to the side and i stupidly bumped them with something and they all got mixed up. There are two sets of wiring. The top set of wires consists of four wires and runs to the TSTAT. Yellow, red, white and green. The bottom set consists of only two wires, red and white, and runs to the other side of the house.

Isn't there a wiring schematic on the inside of the cover?

that section of the diagram seems to be torn off....of course

and i found it online for my model but it doesnt match up with what I have.... the bottom set of wires, the red and the white, that dont run to the thermostat, im confused as to where those go. I know with the TSTAT wires, the yellow goes to yellow, Green to G, red to Common and white to W...

the literature for the unit isnt very descriptive...

Look at the terminal block diagram at the top of page 7. It shows thermostat r to r, g to g, w to w, y to y. Then the two wire cable goes one wire to C and the other to Y. The two wire cable should go to the A/C condenser outside.

ya that last part is what im confused about... the set of two wires, red and white, which goes to C and which goes to Y?

Since the diagram doesn't show a color designation on the condenser it shouldn't matter which one hooks to either Y or C.

Edit: It's a 24V relay coil in the condensing unit so it doesn't matter which wire go to the Y and C.

Seems I can't remember a darned thing, so I use my iphone to photograph everything before disassembly. Good luck with it.
