Well we moved in about a year ago and I had the floors done and had put up a couple gladiator cabinets from the old house, but now I am ready to do it right.

I am thinking the following, but I welcome everyone's thoughts and inputs:

1. High lift garage tracks
2. Jackdrive openers
3. Move the overhead rack, ladders, yards tools and gladiator stuff to the single 4th car garage not pictured below
4. Line the back wall in cabinets and a workbench, I'm looking at Redline powder coated cabinets
5. 4 post lift in the far left single bay
6. Build a decent sized closet to house the air compressor, welder, power washer and wet vac

The garage needs to house the Vette, and my wife's SUV, the pictured sedan sits in the single garage usually where I am planning to move the other **** mentioned above. Thanks for the input and I plan to add more pictures as the work progresses.

Well the initial plan is coming together. I ordered enough cabinets to go 110" high and 24' long across the back wall of the garage. With the remaining 7 feet of wall space available I am going to build a bulk storage closet. Today was demo as the closet install will start on Tuesday, the cabinets wont be here until the first week of March.

Wow, that is a very nice looking space to begin with! What are its dimensions? With the new cabinets along the back wall, will the vehicles be a tight fit, front to rear? You wife and her SUV just might appreciate NOT having the bulk storage cabinet to contend with, if that is where she is to park; you might want to consider a parking sensor system so you don't have to (mis)judge your stopping point. lol

Nice space. Who did your floors/what product? How much per square foot? How are they holding up? Are you happy with the quality of the job? I need to do floors soon and had a similar look in mind.

The garage is 31' x 21'. As for the wife's SUV, I will absolutely be putting in a sensor so she doesn't hit the cabinets. As for the floor, its a Polymer floor with Black and Grey flecks. It was done locally by a company in Ft Worth, TX.
This weekend was supplies weekend, I picked up the following:
1. Old Wilton vise
2. CH 60gal compressor
3. 2ea Liftmaster 3800s

I sold the old cabinets on CL and finished getting everything cleaned out, closet/electrical was delayed until this week and cabinets next week. Its a process!

How high are your ceilings? Did you gain much room by going to high lift doors? Even though I have no need for a lift, or the expense associated with a lift, that is definitely something I would have done differently on my house had I been aware of the alternatives. Live and learn I guess. How much does it generally cost to convert to high lift tracks and openers? Are used 3/4 HP Liftmaster belt drive openers worth anything? Mine are about 2 years old.

Your garage is looking great. The brickwork on the outside adds a touch of class to as well.
You have to raise the flag higher though.

I agree, I love the brick myself...In fact, I spent the good part of last year bricking the front of my garage with Robinson Mountain stone, which looks very much like the OP's....Good work OP...

The floor was done by Garagization, Robin is the owners name, great guy. They are also doing my powdercoated cabinets next week. As for the highlift, I opted against it as I could not fit a lift with only 10' ceilings. I ellected to just install 2 liftmaster 3800s for openers, I started putting them in last night and will post pictures when its done. Thanks for the kind words!

Very clean build. I'm digging it. Closet space is perfect for clearing up the clutter.

Well Finally had the time this week to finish the project, its complete!! Thank you to everyone on this board for the ideas and assistance, the amount of information on this webpage is amazing. All in all, I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out the floor, the cabinets, air lines, compressor, wall board etc. it all went to together over a 60 day period. Here are the finished pictures for everyone to see!
