Hi, A friend gave me this old 3.5in jaw wilton he was going to scrap, but it is missing the swivel lock down and I think a washer between the handle and jaw body because the handle rubs on the body. Anyone know if parts are available and how to id this vise model number? I'm going to tear it down this week and get it sandblasted, then fixed up and painted. Oh, and new jaw inserts if there available.

Good luck getting pics going. Easy work-a-round might be take picture on your cell phone, then email it to yourself by changing the phone number of pic text to instead go to your email address, rather than to a phone #.

a couple more

I've got a 643.5 sitting on the side of my shop that needs a swivel base. Since i'll never be able to just find the base, i should have the parts you need. The base cracked in 2 but i have the side with the lockdown intact.

Want to buy the whole thing so you have lots of spare parts like a operating handle and jaw inserts?

I'm watching this thread! I now have my dads old wilton vise that is identical to yours. It is missing one of the pipe grip inserts that install below the jaw. I'd love to get a replacement piece.

here are the pictures of my wilton 643 1/2 that i have. It looks pretty crusty but it does move freely. A little soak in some Kroil and it should come right apart.

The pipe 'jaws' in bigcaddy's pics look real similar to ones I called Wilton for price and delivery a coupla months ago.
I think they were under $20/pr + shipping.

EDIT
oops - looks like it's ready to rock n roll!!

Sweet vise! I've got a wilton (not as old as yours), that needs a part, too. Their site doesn't seem to have a funtional parts catalog. Does anyone know if wilton will sell parts for these if you call them?
