Price is usually $180. Didnt buy. Waiting for it to drop more as most HD clearances do. About 10 unit in the clearance area.

Anywhere from 1 to 3 units at the HD's nearby.

I'm definitely going to HD few times a week.

edit* ... wait, why the doors look so funky - missing doors?

I'll pass but seeing these are going on sale, I hope other items in their line will be on sale, too.

I've been watching a few of these at my local HD and they have held at $116 for the last 4 months at least. I've seen them move around the store to multiple locations but still no more price drops. I wonder if I could talk to the store manager and see if they have the power to cut it anymore.

I have the perfect space for one of these, but what is the quality like on these? What little I've read about them elsewhere doesn't see too stellar.

That Husky cabinet is good for the money, IMO. I bought one at a local closeout shop recently for $99. I think it was an assembled display. It is pretty much identical to the Craftsman line (I'm sure they're both made by Waterloo) and I already had 2 32" floor standing cabinets plus 3 overhead cabinets from Sears, and this one matched them. I'm going to use it over a metal workbench for "dirty" work and keep solvents, cleaners, spray paint, etc. in this cabinet.

I checked them out at my local HD this evening. They aren't real heavy duty, but I don't doubt that it would hold up to lighter use.

Unfortunately they weren't on sale here. The employee I spoke to said that they would probably match the price if I could show that it was on sale elsewhere. Not sure that this thread would count for proof though. :)

How heavy are these built? I have been looking at these.

for 65.00. I have seen them cheaper though.

Flimsy would be an understatement for these

Not all that bad for home use, though. I use mine exclusively for spray paints and other aerosol products and small solvents, adhesives, etc.

Main shortfalls: too shallow front to back: doors are not magnetic, so I keep the keys in the locks at all times.

That said it would be a nice cabinet in a spot where you need low profile in a traffic area, IF you rig it to stay closed without the keys.

bump in case you're interested in these.

I hadn't seen this thread before, these were down to $44.03 at my local HD yesterday. Came home to see some reviews and saw this thread.

I'm still on the fence about where I might use these,, but I bought 2 today. I also took the Ace 40%/$16 coupon with me, so I got two @$36/each.

Wow. There's 3 in stock at the local HD. Might have to make a run over there and see if they're marked down.

I was looking at the instructions and I think you might be able to assemble them with or without the open shelving on the sides. The might not but side to side and have room to open the door, but you could make a filler. Anyone done something like that with these?

Wow, that's a stellar price. Are any of you getting HD to match prices locally? My local HD said that they would match the price from another location, but I didn't have any way to prove that another location had it at that price.

I stopped by my local HD after work and they wouldn't price match a store outside of the local district. I don't blame them, but that sure would have been a sweet deal.

Same here at my local HD. I would have scooped one if were $45!

Are you guys referencing the HD website for the price? HD doesn't update their website prices for clearance items in store. You have to check the store itself.
