Anyone have a recommended leveling compound to pour over a cement floor? I've heard of Ardex, any others?

There's a fairly new product to Calf. called Mg-Krete Lock the Top SLU by http://www.spggogreen.com/ The pic below is the finished with sawcuts and the edges ground to zero (feather edge). Very easy to use and if you don't touch it it will self level at about 1/4". You can color it any color you want from what I understand. This is a Tire store that had a large birdbath. Floor is going to get epoxied.

I know Home Depot carries Rapidset products; does anyone know if they carry this self leveling stuff?

I talked to the manager of my local Home Depot.
They don't stock the Rapid Set TRU Self Leveling coating and the Rapid Set Acrylic Primer needed for the prep, but they will order it for you.

How much out of level.
Planning to have help ? At least 3+ guys bare minimum IMO when using SL products..

3 guys minimum? why? pour it on, spread it out, some have 30 min work time others 15 min.

Though my garage does slow towards the door, do I have to build a dam to prevent it from flowing out? I know I'll have to make a transition perhaps but I wouldn't want to get into a situation where I can't keep it from flowing out.

Are you doing a 2 feet diameter or a *pour*.

To get it right, you want the surface prepped right (aka - the manuf. primer).
2nd. All the good ones I've used....not the Home Depot stuff - it's a constant fast turnaround. 2 Guys are mixing in 5 Gal Buckets with the right water dosage. Have like 5-6 buckets ready. Then you pour and you *squeege it out*. Between you and the 2 guys that have just poured and you are doing the squeeging, back to hustiling measuring the 6 buckets, mixing, pour.....DO not stop. Keep on going at this rapid pace so you get your *pour* in 1 shot.....

PROPER PREP and PROPER Mixture is key with this stuff.
