I'm not sure what your exact question is. PEX is used in new residential construction here in the Denver, Colorado and I heard of no problems.

Is it a new product for brazil?

Need heat in Brazil?

I'm in the south of the country, (Paraná state) further south has little snow
Here not snow, winter months between May June July in my city meidia 39 F.
Do not like the cold, I found very good floor heating system.
For me the best air conditioning hot cold, less money to spend

If I am not mistaken they have been using PEX for a while over in Europe for a quite a while not only for heat but also potable water. Its been here about 10 years or so but its now getting very popular. Its more than copper up front but its cheaper and easier to install that copper

I am going to replace my whole house plumbing with PEX since my copper is getting older.

I have a friend who reworked his whole house in PEX about 5 years ago - it is great.

The only problem I know of is I know a plumber who told me that had one house where a rodent of some sort (possibly as squirrel) chewed a hole in the PEX and caused a leak.

We just replumbed our house with PEX. Works great.

There was a brand of brass PEX fittings that were defective a few years ago and caused some leaks. Should be fixed now, though. And the pipe itself has never been a problem.

BTW, for radiant heat, you're supposed to use oxygen-barrier PEX. Sometimes called PEX-Al-Pex because it's a sandwich of PEX and aluminum. Little more expensive, not too bad though.

My house and my motorhome are plumbed in pex. Most modern coaches are. If it holds up in a coach I will use it in my shop!
