I'm surprised at the huge range of prices using the store locator / stock checker. I found prices from 99 cents to $8.98. Most seem to vary in the $4-7 range.

I need to see if the store with it at 99 cents has any tomorrow.

If you find a Lowes that has them and you purchase them on line check the paint department for more if you go to the store. The store by only had one on line but when i went to pick it up I found 3 more on the shelf. Same thing at the second store 2 on line 2 more on shelf.

$3.89 and $2.94

I picked up 15 at $1.22 per quart in Avondale, PA. Found them all in plumbing. Nobody knew where they were. Had to show them on the Lowes App for IPhone that they were in the store somewhere!:bowdown:

LMAO, that's the closest store near me not in Philadelphia that had any, lol. Tempted to hit the in city stores, but don't want to find my car up on cinder blocks after I find the hidden stash.

Found it at a local Lowes, but only one store had it discounted.

Must be a pretty good product- it made itself vanish!

Six jugs are now in my garage at 99 cents each. :)

Dan,

What department is this?

I checked paint and found nothing. My Lowe's shows nothing on-line. But I'll check back as this would be worth the stop on the way to work.

Paint department doesn't have it. I was sent over to house cleaners. Yeah, I know, you'd think it would be over with naval jelly and other derusting compounds, or at least with paint strippers, but no. It's with floor wax.

But that can be to your benefit since clearly nobody would ever look there.

I asked about it and found out that store was discontinuing carrying it, but other stores would. I'm curious if you could take the receipt from one store and see if others would price match it, since it's not labeled as being on clearance or on sale from the signage.

I don't blame you! If you don't find the Evaporust fast and get back out to your car it may be Evapocar! lol

Also I see people can't find it in paint section. Check out the plumbing sections as well! That's where the whole stash was for me. :rocker:

$2.31/quart in the paint department for me.

Only one of mine had it.

Ordered the 6 they showed in stock, went to pick it up after getting the "your order is ready" confirmation, and nobody could find it.

Computer only showed 2 quarts in stock (oddly, they showed 6 before my purchase, 0 after).

Finally found 8 quarts in a clearance bunker near the paint counter - my 6 and the other 2 the computer showed.

Bought the additional two and bailed.

None of the 6 Lowes in my area show to have any going by the website, but judging by others' experiences, maybe I ought to stop by a couple of them and see if there's any on the shelf...

$2.24 in Marion, Ohio store, right next to the CLR as shown above. I picked up the last quart yesterday. I wish I would have gone the day I saw this thread. Price is only good in our store until 3/17.

$1.12 at my local store and 10 in stock.

I've never used this stuff, is it worth it and does it work well?

I picked up 10 tonight from the store in Carrollton, Texas. The price was 1.12 each but it took a lot of effort to locate them. The computer showed 22 in stock (only store within 50 miles that had ANY) but they had no idea where they would be. After 2 hours of searching with 3 guys while the store was closing I gave up, left them my phone number and headed home 35 minutes after closing.

Wouldn't you know it they found it right after I left... They gave me a call and let me know... But all the registers were already closed... So it looked like i would have to head all the way back down to this store tomorrow (40 miles), then the head of the paint dept that had been helping me find the Evaporust called me back again and got the store GM to reopen a register for him so I headed back again (I was only a few miles away) and they let me back into the store and sold me the 10 quarts, about an hour after they had originally closed...

Now if that isn't good old fashioned customer service I don't know what is! Even though this store is no where near where I live they are going to get the lions share of my business!

You can't beat these guys anywhere! All this effort for a $11.20 sale!

They still have 12 more quarts if anyone needs them...
