I have that exact top and bottom with a peterbilt snap on mural on the top and very bottom drawer. Never saw another one. Snap on guy offered a grand trade in for mine. But now I have a son it's going to him.

I think you did well, I have the top and bottom and you will be very old before you wear it out. I paid less, but even with that picture of the box it looks like it is in better shape then mine was when I got it. In case you don't know, SO still carries parts for it, I had to replace all the nylon bumpers on the top to keep it from being metal to metal on the lid when you put it down and they still have them.

Very nice. If all the drawers work for $500 I think you did really good.
I have been looking for a KR537 with bottom for a while now, but everyone I come across seems to be worth its weight in gold. Or at least the owners think that way.

I'll have to do a little work, unloaded it and inspected a little closer and it needs some bumpers and slides, but I'll go through it when it gets warmer. Stored at a buddy's shop for now. Ended up at $450 after haggling a bit. I'd really like to get rid of the black parts and leave the front red and maybe a chrome overlay on the bottom drawer, don't know how much value the 65th anniversary showcase business brings.

There's been one posted, exact same anniversary edition, for $1000 for about 1.5 YEARS now on my local craigslist. Now it does look really nice, but obviously he hasn't had many takers.

That's a good deal. The top boxes go for $225-300 around here

They had a snap on overlay on some of them.
