Fluoresent light ?

In my old shop i have 12 4 foot,4 t-8 bulb fixtures.Over the years 3 of them work no ore couple two bulbs come on,3 still work fine others will come on then shut down after a bit then come back on.Bought all new bulbsjust to see if that would do anthing but still some doing blinking thing or not at all.Now i,m assuming ballast.What do i look for when buying ballasts,are they all the same for 4 4ft units,and how hard is it to wire them in.I,m in wheelchair so id get grandson to get light down and i,d rewire if not to hard to figgure.Coarse i,d even shut power off at box while he takes light down since he,s a good kid![27] years old,so that makes me bout 40 i think!Thanks,Paul

new electronic ballasts from homedepot will fit the bill. They tell you how many and what type of bulbs they are good for. Under $20 a pop will fix you right up. Very easy to wire up. Had to recently do this on garage fixtures that were only 5 years old.

Ok,Believe it or not went to H.D.today and guy couldent tell me if ballasts were different for a 4 bulb setup as mine are or use 2 two ballast per light.Without me takin one down to see as its been years since i hung them,can one of you experts tell me if one or two per light.These are 4 bulb t-8 units.Paul

They have 2-bulb and 4-bulb ballasts. The specs are written on the package.
