Lowes $10 off $50 B&M Printable Coupon

i got shot down today at lowes...cashier said management told everyone it is not a legitimate coupon and she wouldnt take it.i felt like walking out,but the wife was with me and she picked out an area rug she loved so i bit my lip

I must have used 10-12 coupons up until Monday - Tuesday of this week.....lotsa spring/summer projects going on. Picked up some plumbing stuff, some gardening stuff, yadda, yadda.

The great thing was that even though the coupon said 1 per family, person - or something to that extent....I just made 4-5 seperate transactions and the cashier just rung me up and took the coupons.

I tried to use it Homers - they did not bit.
Homers in general, has a slightly better pricing and variety on plumbing, electrical, gardening, etc

They wouldn't take the OSH $10 off $30 but instead offered the $10 off $50. I told them if they can't match competition then I don't have to shop there.

It is lousy that they put out a coupon and then void it just because they didn't expect so many to get their hands on it. That's what happens with social media!

I really don't care much for Lowe's or HD, and only go to either when good deals pop up. I do most of my shopping at Menards.

Used it again Sunday with out any issues over at Lowes... Went to home depot first and did a bunch of shopping but as always they came up with a new excuse for why they couldn't honor it. Really tired of messing with HD they always have some excuse when I go in there, last time they wouldn't honor their own coupon because "The item is cheap enough already" WTF is that? Really makes me want to go get a buggy and just walk down random isles grabbing **** that would be a pain to put back and fill it up and just leave it sit. I spent an hour and a half shopping and with out being able to produce anything in writing you tell me your policy (can't show it though)... Douches

Have used it at Lowes, but never knew Menards would except comp coupons.....THANKS for the info!!!!! I called Menards earlier today as they have 11% off everything right now. Figuring a big score with both a coupon and 11%, only to be shot down. They said you can only use one or the other

I don't see why they wouldn't do both. The rebate prints out on your receipt. If anything, tell them you just want to use the coupon and the rebate will still print on your receipt.

Yes. Used it today at home depot after denial at lowes.

The same thing happened to me at Lowes in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. I was able to use the coupon just by showing it on my smart phone. Scanning it showed that it's "expired".

Tried mine today at lowes. Had a cart full of things. They denied it. They said that the coupon was fraud, and I then showed them the associate advantage ad. They said someone printed it and changed the dates.
I said well I don't need any of this and left the cart there.

Fast forward 10 minutes, I went to home depot, got the stuff I needed for MUCH cheaper, and then some.

Cashier looked at the coupon, put it in his drawer, discounted me 10.00, and smiled and said have a good day.

P.S. I think I'm going to Home Depot from now on. Off the topic, their merchandise was so much more organized, exact products for cheaper, and helpful employees. It may just be my area lowes, but they lost my business

Used this coupon yesterday at Lowe's in La Habra, CA. Came up as redeemed but cashier did an override with no fuss at all.

Other Lowe's locations are hit and miss with printed coupons. Home Depot will not take printed coupons even if you get one from them by email.

I wish that Menards would expand west to California.

The Lowes store I went to showed me the e-mail message sent to the stores notifying them of that specific coupon stating it was fraudulently distributed online through coupon web sites with instructions to deny it.

I tried to use one for the first time yesterday. Cashier said yes it's no longer valid, the company that printed them didn't follow their rules and to go back to the original site and request a new one with a special code. I think it's just to limit the number of people with them. She did give me $10 off on the expensive level I bought so it worked, but I'm also in there every week so she knows me

I tried using this last week at Lowes and it came up not valid. They of course wouldn't honor it. I haven't tried it at my Home Depot yet, they've always honored print outs of the Lowes movers coupon though.

If your okay with that, then might as well just use PhotoShop or something and make your own fraudulent coupons for a better discount rate. Why not edit that one and make it for $20 off $50, and change the expiration date to 12/31/13. It's all the same, fraud is fraud, might as well go big.

Online distribution of the coupon is a prohibited practice, and voided the coupon which was stated in the corporate message from Lowe's hq to their stores, instructing them to not honor the coupon (and included the pic of the coupon).
