E stop buttons from China on e Bay

Anyone personally use these at all.
Please don't just say
"You get what you pay for"
without personal experience.
I am looking for people that have actually tried them.

They look just like a typical " www.automationdirect.com " button, I bet if you figure in the shipping, you are cheaper buying from automationdirect (they offer free shipping).

And I will voutch for Automation Direct. They are cheap Chinese products, but I have had great success using them.

I thought the one I linked to had free shipping, or do they tack on some type of "Duty"
I asked one seller, and he chose to ingnor the question.
Although l have gotten other things from Asian countries, and was not charged additional.
There was some sort of dis claimer about "duties" or such on some of the ads.
Don't seem to see it on this one though.

Good deal, it'd be an absolute no-go with legal-liability issues otherwise.

All safety-functional issues aside and while I haven't purchased this particular item. I purchased numerous cheap chinese electrical components about six months ago for a personal projects/lab experiment... and was extremely disappointed. To the point, that they were all just scrapped, and I reordered the proper equipment, taking it as a lesson learned. While I know you don't want to hear a suggestion of spending the $20-60 for a proper 30mm E-Stop button... I really would, if this is going to be used as an E-Stop.

Yeah, E stop for a wood lathe.
Maybe l really won't need it, but thought it might be a good Idea.
I do need a NO switch, all the ones at http://www.automationdirect.com seem to be NC.
jumping out terms 7 and 8 momentarily, shuts the motor down, and e stop flashes till I reset my forward /off/reverse switch.
So momentary contact would be OK, but the company told me sustained contact would be OK too. (I of course would have to re set the mushroom switch before restarting)
I am running a Teco JNEV 101-H1 VFD.

I used one on my electric brewery control panel. It runs a hot wire to the ground to trip my gfci power cord. Works like a charm.

The contacts on the back of all those can be swapped arround.
I use them all the time on any number of configurations.

It does. It'll just take a few weeks to arrive. I order stuff like this from China all the time. Quality is hit or miss.
