In my newly poured concrete garage floor, I have two garage drains, however in my opinion they got a bit carried away with the amount of slope. It also is not the most linear slope, maybe a bit convex. In short, it makes walking across the garage and getting in and out of vehicles uncomfortable.
I am trying to find a solution to correct this without massive destruction/cost. I have thought a few initial thoughts, but would like product/suggestions. Here are things I have thought of thus far.
Laying a good size aluminum plate (like 6' by 12') of appropriate thickness (taking suggestions), spanning the low dip of the drain area, mitering the edges so it lays flat on the concrete, but a plate this big is likely to cost quite a bit and needs to be thick enough to support vehicle weight.
Finding some sort of self leveling pourable plastic to 'fill' the area, so the garage floor is flat local to the drain area. Then if needed, I can remove the hardend plastic form as needed (when I wash vehicles, etc). Would likely need a good amount of product, and the correct hardness, formula, etc.
