I saw these at fastenal and had to have a set

Made by hex pro, I believe in Taiwan (bummer) distributed by a company in mission viejo, ca. I believe they are rebranded by several names.

Pretty cool little guys, they feel solid and come with a lifetime warranty.

Great! Now I know what the thing was!

Of course, I turned it into a chamber cleaner. Works great!

How was the threading of the end? I would think a high quality hex key would be a bit tough to thread.

Very true but only a 5 pc set

sniped my edit but yes.

And I fancy the roll case. Suppose it depends if you want it in your drawer.

I could see myself using these for bikes.

In a pinch, this gives me an idea...I have that 1/4" breaker bar I never use. Maybe I can get some metric hex-allen sockets for that, would be nice in a touring bike tool kit. Add in a 1/4" extension and that'd be a great little bike tool.

If you really want to get fancy get yourself a 1/4" roto with good locking mechanism that'll really hold the socket. Or simpler a good 1/4" breaker bar with a solid ball indent mech.

Get these sockets. (usa made?)

And maybe add in a locking extension.

Ok the hex pro is cool and a simple dedicated tool (and can't drop sockets), I'm just more of a multi-purpose sort of guy.

Those are cool. I won't buy them since I can just use a small breaker with a bit socket, but those are still cool.

I have 2 sets and use them every day. theyre great. I have had to warranty a few- not the tools fault, I use one size constantly. The woman I dealt with for the warranty was the inventors wife! Great experience and I will definitely buy more.

I just looked at the Hexpro website and it appears they have been bought by Bondhus.

Man, I wish I had known about those double jointed ones a few months ago.
