I'm excited! However most of the tools in my box are black and red, these being the only blue tools I have would drive me crazy. Friggin OCD
For that reason I can't decide if I should keep them :dunno:
How rare are these drivers? I don't see too many blue SO aroun

I wouldn't call them "rare" but blue HH's do seem to be one of the most uncommon, hard to find color. Not really sure why SO doesn't release more blue options considering some of the other uglier (IMO) colors they sell? Hell red (the official SO color) in HH's aren't as common as orange and green? Figure that one out? :dunno:

I'm OCD too so they would have to go but considering the condition, I wouldn't expect you to make that much off them

Were not the light blue screwdrivers made for smaller hands?

That's probably why they are relatively rare. No one wanted to admit to having a smaller body part..........

I compared them to my other hard handles. They are, unquestionably, thinner, but the same length.
About 10-15% thinner.
I dunno, I have baseball mitts attached to my wrist and they don't feel uncomfortable at all.

Maybe its a plus for compact toolboxes

The light blue ones are pretty rare.
This makes me wanna put them up on the bay or in the classifieds. Not because i'm trying to make a buck but because that means that there is some collector out there that needs it to complete a set way more than I do. I just needed a damn P2 driver.

The powder blue is somewhat rare. You might get some bites on eBay but the big money usually comes from pristine condition items.
If you want to sell them, pm me a price you think is fair.

Blue is coming back, my dealer has a few sets of blue hard handles. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Snap-On..._Automotive_Tools&hash=item33810eedb1&vxp=mtr

This set is 'only' $130 off the truck.

I'm very OCD about things matching so the whole color thing with SO kind of pisses me off.

When I first started buy HH's from SO off the truck in the early '90s, red (the color I really wanted) wasn't even an option for most items so I stuck with Black as that was the most common color. Now there are some gaps I'd like to fill in but most of the tools that you can still get with the older HH handles seem to come in every color but black!

Damn it SO, pick a friggen handle color and stick with it and make it available across your whole line of tools!
