i like the finish and quality a lot, i've used the 1/4" set quite a bit already and it really works nice, especially for the price.

What i like most about it is the grip surface ribs at the sockets and the thin walls for accessibility and the quick release and the smooth action of the ratchets.:thumbup:

"Ribbed, for her pleasure"

I've never seen those sockets/brand before. They look really cool

Vampliers screw pliers. Same as Engineer PZ-58 screw pliers. Amazon has the Vampliers for $5 less.

The handle is a soft, grippy rubber. A nice cover is included that keeps the pliers closed when in the drawer - they are spring loaded open.

I am happy with my purchase from CPO like always. The tools work and look like brand spanking new. Just like the other factory refurbished tools i bought from them.

Finally got most of my purchases this week.

Finished my Knipex drawer.

IMG_20130418_203204_879.jpg

NOS Craftsman SAE Prossional Wrenches. I will have 16 tomorrow. The 1 1/8" and 1 1/4" were bought seperate and are sitting at the post office.

IMG_20130418_203611_385.jpg

New 22 Piece Metric and SAE Craftsman RP Full polish Shorties.

IMG_20130418_203346_297.jpg

58" and 42" Mayhew Dominator Prybars. I wasn't really needing these but the independant tool guy at work had them sitting in his truck forever. He wanted them gone and said make an offer. I said $75 for both and he put them in my truck. Both were still in the boxes.

Gearwrench Double X Needle Nose and Hose Pliers and EZ-Red Kiwi Pliers. Not real happy with the EZ-Red pliers. They work but the machining isn't great. The tips appear to have be machined down by a kid with a hand file.

Finally took a pic of the polishers I've acquired lately. The Dewalt 849X is used only for aluminum/ss polishing. The Flex's stay on paint. The Flex rotary does not spin fast enough for metal polishing and the DeWalt has a little more power. I like the bale handle on it as well since the metal buffs are run on edge. The Flex is much quieter, lighter and smoother otherwise though and I wouldn't want to put that thing through the abuse of metal polishing. It's nice to be able to have seperate machines. Avoids cross contamination.

I just had a few of the Menzerna compounds I acquired so far lined up on that shelf as well. The rest of the stuff is stored away in totes. Kind of just did the bookshelf for the picture. Going to add FG400 as well as Power Finish to the Menzerna collection and a couple more scents from Chemical Guys. The one on the shelf is "Stripper Scent", everybody loves it in our stuff, but you gotta change it up from time to time or it gets old/overwhelming.

Some day I'll get a picture of the whole collection of pads, MF's, chemicals, etc.

A coworker asked me to change her brakes on her Audi A3. I said sure! Good excuse to finally buy the lisle part #25000 rear caliper turn in tool, and a blue point 14mm triple square socket. The tool works really well, MUCH easier than using the little cube tool from autozone. I dont feel like going out to the garage to snap a picture, so ill upload pics from their websites.

Fleabay purchase:

I was looking for a metric micrometer. Found this:

IMG_0018_zps7fe8e2fe.jpg

Brand new Starrett (USA) metric micrometer model 230M, in original plastic bag.

$28. Shipped in two days for $5.

This is a $200 micrometer. It was listed on the title as a Mitutoyo, but the written description and photos clearly identified it as a Starrett.

Previously unused as far as I can tell.

Made in Japan, so the steel is probably decent quality. But do they do anything better or more than a U.S.-made pair of ViceGrips, which everyone should have anyway?
