I recently aquired an SJ 4 jack that is mostly complete except for the headlight switch and headlight lens. The wire, although broken at the bottom is still inside the handle but I cannot see where it would exit up near the handle and have no idea what the switch looks like or how it is mounted. Pictures, explainations, parts for sale would be helpful. I also have made heavy fiberglass cover plates for the SJ 18 jack as I was missing it and bought another jack just to have a pattern. I also had the unique u joint for the SJ 18 control valve repicated in bronze infused stainless steel by a process called 3D printing.

I was unaware that bronze infused stainless could be 3d printed?

I remember your older post looking for an SJ-18 cover. I think a lot of folks here would be interested in seeing your replicated cover and control valve joint.

Please post up some pics of your jacks and parts...

mitusa gave you a real good thread link to look at. Within the thread there is a nice pdf with and illustrated parts list that shows the light system.

Good luck with your jacks!!!

quality like that is way before most of our time, how many times have you put a jack under a car and wished you could see the jack points better, "boy if only there was a light under there"
