This is a 1/4 drive set the mailman just brought me today. Although I was not impressed with the tin, most everything inside looks virtually new. I'm not sure why two of the pics I took have a goldish look. Most everything in this set has 1950 date stamping. A few sockets have '51,'58,'59 date stamping. I was more impressed seeing it in person than the pics on ebay. Maybe somebody can help me with this...some of the sockets, stamped with the same 1950 date code, have knurling and some don't. Most parts in this set are hard to tell from brand new at first glance.

. Also, being as how nice the inside things are compared to the tin, I was pondering the idea of lightly sandblasting it and repainting it.
