IR recently updated their closeouts. Almost 6 pages worth with a few great deals scattered in. Lots of regulators and oilers. Unfortunately I havent checked in a week or so and missed out the steal of a deal on the 50' retractable reels. They still have a 100' at $100 which isnt bad but thats way more hose than Ill ever need at my house

Thanks for the link srmofo. Those look like great prices compared to HF, HD, Northern Tool, etc.
But, call me dense but I'm missing something on the website. Every item I look at fails to give a description or size specs. I'm not experienced enough to look at the picture and know that is the one I need.
I guess I'll have to search each cat no. In Grainger catalogue cause even when I search on IR site I get the same picture.
Help me!

Am I reading this wrong? That 100' hose reel is showing up at like over a thousand bucks retail. And all of those Filter/Regulator combos for under $20? What's the story here? Is this a legit site or some kind of scam?

I work for Ingersoll Rand and this is our Closeout site. This is an official Ingersoll Rand site. The items on the site are all new discontinued or slow moving inventory items that we are selling at clearance prices. We have limited stock of each item.

Thanks for the link. I ordered a HVLP paint gun for $45 (msrp $155). I've got a truck to paint this spring/summer and needed one for it

Ordered a regulator filter combo. Are those 50 foot reels plastic housing or metal housing, or a mix of both? Either way great deal :rocker: free shipping, makes it even better.

Which one did you get? I'm with the post before aboutnot knowing anything about the models.

Thank you srmofo!!! I ordered quite a few things. Buckgnarly just google each individual part number for the combos. I got C38331-801 3/8" npt 99cfm auto drain frl(filter regulate lubricate). Be careful if it says bsp in the title (british pipe thread) I did not know this and it is different thread than npt.

Here's the ARO-Flo Catalog, I used it for ordering a few regulators/filters/oilers (1500 Series).
http://fileserver.ingersollrand.com/DocumentLibrary/ARO-Flo_FRLCatalog.pdf

And a quick overview of the series are:
1000 Series - "Micro", 1/8" and 1/4" ports (59scfm)
1500 Series - "Compact", 1/4" and 3/8" ports (113scfm)
2000 Series - "Standard", 3/8", 1/2", and 3/4" ports (222scfm)
3000 Series - "Heavy Duty", 3/4" and 1" ports (368scfm)

This is a pdf with all of the model numbers

There are 3 series (1000,1500,2000)
The last 3 of the number (-601,610,801,810) are the material that the bowls are made of. The metal bowls hold 250 psi . I believe the poly bowls are all ending with 601,801 and they hold 150psi

I believe 3/8 npt is cxxx31 while cxxx21 is 1/4 but dont hold me to that.

Read the PDF for the exact specs

Damnit had the 100' reel in my basket and while figuring out which regulator someone bought it out from under me.

!more thing the last 3 8xx or 6xx.
8 denotes a F+R+L
6 denotes a F/R +L ....I think

Forget the hose reel those heavy duty balancers are the real steal.

Retail for around $2,000 yours now for 150. I just can't think of a anything I need to hang that weights between 176-198 pounds.

Maybe I could hook it from the crane and hook it to myself and pretend I'm walking on the moon.

SRMOFO, sorry you didn't get the reel. I too was trying to figure out the filter/reg parts numbers (thanks for the AVRO link) and the reel that was in my basket disappeared. I think that since it was your idea, someone should send you their reel. They wouldn't have got it without ya.

Good luck to those of you who just bought thse regulators. I had two of them and removed both of them because they both leaked and I couldnt get them to stop. At that price you are no out much. I just took out a filter, reg and oiler unit like pictured above. My oiler was always empty it worked fine I just didnt like it.

This is a very good deal though.

Was that the filter/regulator combo? Hopefully I get some good ones.

Does anyone know how IR has you rig up the auto drain? I bought a manual and auto drain (2 units) just in case I can't figure out the auto drain system.

No, Both were stand alone regualters. One was just plumbed into the three piece unit like pictured above.

I bought these:
.
  • P39333-610 - 3/8" port 0.3 micron filter 0-140 psi / gauge metal bowl w/ sight glass manual drain
  • P39333-614 - 3/8" port 0.3 micron filter 0-140 psi / gauge metal bowl w/ sight glass auto drain
  • P39334-624 - 3/8" port 5 micron filter 0-140 psi / gauge metal bowl auto drain
  • P39454-620 - 3/4" port 5 micron filter 0-140 psi / gauge metal bowl manual drain

I didn't get an oiler, I had no reason for one, even though they seemed to be cheaper...

Anyone know about the auto drains? I got both kinds, they were cheap enough just in case. Also what about 0.3 micron vs. 5 micron filters? Would they flow the same amount? I would think 0.3 micron is better, but not sure how they'd work. According to the tech docs they all flow the same amount.

I ordered 3 of this item. Currently we have Parkers installed in the shops but am keeping these as backup. I wish the 1/2" was also on clearance.

http://shop.neobits.com/ingersoll_r...iece_3_8_in_npt_85_cfm_250_psi_1034134552.php

I'm not so keen on the Carbide Burrs thus ordered only a set to see it.

Thanks to the OP for posting the deal.

Autodrains are typically pressure valves that open with the system depressurizes. You have to either kill the air or disconnect the compressor to get them to drain themselves, which is really only a benefit if it's installed somewhere that's a pain in the *** to get at.

They can also be opened manually if you run a lot of continuous duty.

Overall, not a tremendous upgrade. has pretty limited utility.

Thanks Southern. If they can be run manually as well that would be fine with me.
