I rush ordered a 1/4" F/R+L unit, but I need a 1/2" combo. I could even use just a F/R of 1/2" size. Did anyone order an extra I could buy off of them?

There are still some good items left as of 6/16/13

I purchased the 3/4" NPT filter/reg piggyback for $16.62. Part number is P39354-620. This one has the 5 micron filter, 0-140 psi range, gauge, solid metal bowl but NO sight glass.

All the 1/2" stuff is no gauge option or very low pressure range like 0-30psi.

There is also a ton of BSP (British) threaded stuff. The adapters for BSP to NPT are about 8-10 bucks each which is still a great deal.

my regulator that i got about a month ago failed today. the diaphragm came off the center metal fitting. vey small tear near the center. Was able to get it back together and added a little black RTV. We'll see what happens when it dries.

Looks like a poor design vs. the retail cost. This is the 300cfm model with 1" ports.

That lasted about 10 seconds.... Time to find a new diaphragm

Not comforting at all! I'll wait and see if they'll supply the parts at no charge. If not, I'm afraid I won't be buying ARO stuff sadly. Isn't there a warranty?

they offered to send me a new regulator but they are out of stock, I'm getting a refund.

I'm trying to decide if I should just buy another ARO regulator with the same filter and diaphragm so I can fix mine, and have a spare filter or just skip it and buy a milton.

I did a little research today and it would be relatively simple to converst BSP units to NPT. May open some inexpensive options up for those that missed earlier deals.

Thanks for this info guys. It really is picked over, but I just ordered the P39334-310 Filter-Regulator. This should be 3/8", 5 micron, metal w/ sight glass, manual drain, and 10 – 175 PSI adjustment, but it doesn't have a gauge. I don't have any accessories for my compressor yet, so this should be a good start.

Question for those of you who got the auto drain option on their filters: should mine leak air when the compressor is running?

It doesn't seem to be a major leak as the tank still builds pressure but I would prefer to know I'm not losing air. It might be caused by the vibration when the unit is running.

Mine is a 2000 series, 3/4 NPT, 10-175psi, 5micron, piggyback unit. I bought it without the gauge and bought an 1/8" NPT x 2.5" gauge from McMaster-Carr.

(I'm half tempted to buy another but with a manual drain so that I can swap out the bowls and have a spare filter too)

Forgive me if this is the wrong place,...we had some close out specials still lingering so I thought I'd drop them on here.

Ing r140 1/4" cordless ratchet for 69
Ing tl10 led cordless light for 49
ing w040 1/4 impact driver for 69
ing w150qc for 69

I think that's it. These are battery powered cordless new ir tools on closeout. Just the tool or light, no batteries or chargers. If you're interested you can pm. If this is the wrong place, mods please just delete. Not trying to cause problems, just offering these at the wholesale close out pricing of our customers, since I saw the thread title.

They bleed off at low pressure, but once pressure builds up ~20psi then they close.

I bought an adapter from Zoro tools. It's basically a pipe ****** with npt on one side and bsp on the other. Only problem is with 3/4" npt/bsp the thread pitch is the same, so it's very hard to tell which side is which. It was cheap too. Only like $4.

I bought 3 of the piggyback units. One 1/2" and two 3/8". No gauges because they were all sold out of the ones with gauges but still a great deal! I will just add my own when I get around to buying them. If anyone could recommend quality gauges at decent prices i would appreciate it. Thanks for the post!

I just picked up the IR 60 gallon compressor from Tractor Supply. Looking for at least a regulator/filter and am willing to go with BSP. I'm about to cross reference the catalog from an earlier post, but could someone recommend good regulators/filters or anything else that might work? thanks.

3 micron filters are not needed unless painting correct?

Got a link handy for the adapter? i'm looking for a 1/2 by 1/2 to use with the P393D4-604.

Sorry, I ordered them months ago. I bought 3/4-3/4 and they're brass. I remember almost giving up and then I ran across them.

That's not the same as I bought. Mine don't have a hex. They look just like a regular pipe ******.

Anybody else having issues with the regulators randomly spiking to the max on start-up? I have my regulator set to 100psi and it'll be fine for months then one day it will spike up to the max, kind of scary because the spike takes it past the limit
