A paypal account would be nice. At the moment I'm in the middle of a 200 acre field waiting on a truck to empty me. Gotta love technology. I'll be back to the house after dark and half deaf. I do all buisness online at this time of year. Order the stuff and have it shipped to me.

Mike I haven't forgotten you just been really busy. I'm still looking at those items. Just no time to call and order things.

Paypal is nothing but a bunch of crooks...I don't know why anyone would feel safer paying through them. A credit card (not debit card) is just as safe (probably safer depending on the card) and much less of a hassle if anything gets shady.

Dirty Old Man_ If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the ratcheting crimper set. They look to be of good quality, and I would like to know for work. I don't really care where they are made.
So how much will one of those ratcheting crimper sets cost me? I think I need one!

They're just a bit under $90. I'm going to go on a crimping spree after work today. I'll post a couple photos when I get done. :)

I recieved an order from Mike last week. 2 3/8's ratchets and an extra long set of metric wrenches. The ratchets are great, I've been using them the past couple of days. Haven't used the wrenches yet but they feel great in my hand and checking the sizes on both ends with gage blocks at work are the same dimesions that a co-workers S-K set is.

Mike is a great guy and will be getting more of my buisness soon.

By the way Mike did you get any catalogs in yet? I need reading material for the bathroom at home.

That crimper set looks nice. Do the dies interchange without tools? If so, that's a very innovative product which I've never seen. The AMP version of a crimper like that with one die head will run about $120.

Yea, they interchange with no tools. They slide on and sit snugly in place. I forget the other brands I looked at, but I do remember the dies alone being $40+ each.

Those tools look great, never heard of them until now, and I'm a real tool nut. Nice to see something different, look like German tools, we all have to face it, Snap-on and all the big brands are going overseas, as I said in other posts the quality line is becoming a melting pot, with no definitive lines no matter what the brand. All that will do is make us lose faith in the name brands, why pay 100 bucks for Taiwan ratchet with Snap-on engraving when you could buy a ........great quality any brand for 20 bucks.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I am very glad you are happy. And I am happy that I am finally filling out my inventory. Don't forget, ( and to anyone else who might read this) the COMPLETE price list is in excel format and down-loadable. The prices are ultra competitive. I should know, I'm the one who set them.

Since it is Halloween, just show the prices to your nearest (TOO) high priced tool vendor and shortly thereafter you should see them do their best impression of a ghost.
(They will turn white in other words.) And yes, the quality is the same as Snap...Hazet, FAcom, MAC, MATCO and any others you care to dig up.

I look forward to making some more happy customers.

Thanks again.

Are you familiar with the ebay seller with toptul stuff?

Let's see a couple things right now:
1. Bchee - I have really only seen 2 sellers. One from Spokane, WA who is a retailer that I sell wholesale to...and another guy I think out of Dutch Harbor, AK that I don't know how he gets his stuff and it is not much. And to be quite specific, TOPTUL does not want its tools being sold on ebay so the retailer here in Spokane will stop pretty soon. The guy in AK....?? who knows....maybe a container found its way to Dutch somehow? Anyones guess anyways.

2. I don't have a problem running specials just for member here whatsoever. Everyone to a person, even when they don't like how I do some things..mainly the website for now...have been VERY polite to a person....so thanks.

3. As far a specials and pics of tools etc...I can provide a lot and don't mind doing so. But I need to ask if it's ok with you all that it is put on this portion of this site. I mean, after all, it is self-serving to me to do so but it would also result in you guys knowing more about another tool choice.
4. And since I have been accused of having more than one chromosome.......(no offense to anyone I hope) can someone describe to me the steps for placing a pic on in this thread or any other like I see done often??
Thanks in advance.

I have three ratchets and some wobble extentions and hex bits 1/4 drive and wrenches. All the tools are very good so far, daily useage on cars and light trucks. The 1/4 and 3/8 drive gearless ratchets are really neat, the heads are thick but overall very good product. The rubber grips are very good on all the ratchets.

I played with the crimper today and it's pretty cool. I still need a bit of practice to figure out the best way to get the best crimps. In the past I always just winged it.

3fe29a28.jpg

This one was the strongest and the most simple.

a9adeafa.jpg

Not really sure I did this one correctly.

5b97df63.jpg

Definitely need some practice with these. The one I thought I messed up on ended up being the stronger of the two.

If anyone has any pointers, I'd love to hear them.

The crimper feels great too. Very comfortable and once I get the hang of it, everything should end up uniform.

Well, we're more or less asking you for more info and photos. You may want to private message "MC" and ask for her permission.

I would hope that you have more than one chromosome - 46 is standard. =P

Step1: upload photo (you can use flickr, photobucket, imageshack, or your own domain, or upload them to the forum, but that's usually not the best way

Step2: Enter URL of photo by selecting the "insert image" button. Look for the icon that looks like a mountain with the sun above to the right of it. It's underneath the smiley icon and a bit to the right. This is all above "reply to" text boxes. Or you can just take your URL and add the following code before and after it.

Code:
[IMG]YOUR URL[/IMG]

I hope this helps!

Also, it helps if images are less than 800px wide. Some people, like Merkava, don't give a damn, and break everyone's browser. A bit wider is okay, but much wider makes things look very wonky.

I think on second photo you had the terminal 180 out, turn the split in the terminal around and it won't do that. I have done this before when working.

A small instruction guide "How to crimp" would be a nice additional to include with that crimper.:bounce:

 Yea, it wasn't so bad figuring it out through trial and error though. At least there are little pictures on the back of the packaging showing you which die to use with with terminal.

I'm pretty confident I have it down :) Time to start making some harnesses.

So I purposely don't have one as I build inventory so I..... ON PURPOSE......get to talk to the customer.....which is you. That way I know what you want. What you might want in the future etc. And I can tell you straight up if I don't have something how long it will take to bring it in as well as maybe something that s close that you might be happy with. SO until I have 90% of everything, ready to go, I will not have a shopping cart. AT this point it might make way more people mad than happy.
Also, my site has the vast majority of everything Toptul has, but they release new items about twice a year as well.
So, take a look to see what you MIGHT want and then email me or call with the part #.
Or not.
Thanks for the input again and maybe I'll here from you.

Mike, how long on average does it take to get things in that are not in your inventory? Are the 26 pc wrench sets something that are kept in stock? I didn't see any impact swivels, is that something they are making but that doesn't show up on the web page?
Thanks,
Steve

SteveU,

If someone wants an item that I don't have now, I put it into the next order. I am trying to get enough tools sold to put in a $5K order ASAP. If things went well, I might be able to get there in another 3 weeks, then about 45 days later I would have the shipment.
So not too bad. And not too bad considering the prices I must say. Very much worth the wait to save as much money as we're usually talking about.

I have a metric 26 piece set (last one), standard length of course, satin finish, and it goes for $186 and change before shipping. At Snap.....it would be very close to a grand for every wrench from 6mm to 32mm.

Let me know if you're interested in this or ordering something else??

Let me highlight a few things that I have in stock

1. 3 rails of sockets, all 6pt, shallow, satin and mirror finish, for 1/4, 3/8, 1/2. $37 and change for all.

2. The same as above but with deep sockets....about double $64 or so.

amazing finish on both.

Wouldn't this be better off in a dedicated thread? Eventually, people will loose interest in this thread, and it will disappear into the archives, and the same questions will be asked again. Plus, it's usually considered very rude and inconsiderate to hijack someone's thread like this. I doubt that dirtyoldman minds, and I doubt that you had any ill intention, but it really would be in the best interest of everyone to create a separate and independent thread to deal with specific wrenhandtool inquiries.

My suggestion would be to contact the new admin (MC), request to create a wrenhandtools Q&A thread, and then ask for it to be stickied, or just update it often to keep it near the top.

Stuey,

I could not agree more. I will contact them on Monday. Frankly speaking I didn't want to start my "own" thread unless there was some sort of permission given etc.
Is that the new admin's handle....MC??
