My dad passed away and I've been going through his things. I came across a large S-K Wayne tool box that is filled with ratchets and other tools. I've written down all the pertinent info on the tools (he had some dupes) and taken a few pictures. Pictures are attached and the tools are listed below. I don't have a pictures of all tools or the large tool box (see pictures for smaller box/small tools). These tools were probably purchased in the 60s.

Here are most of the tools - some tools I could not make out either tool number or size or both. Came from large S-K Wayne Toolbox (rusty) with three drawers and removable panel in front with logo. Smaller boxes and trays with handles in the toolbox.
Measurements of toolbox: H: 10 in. W: 21 1/2 in. D: 10 in.

NOTE: numbers in parentheses indicate duplicates

x3 on Priceless... Unless you had a bad relationship, then they are worth what someone will pay. Those sets go for $25-100 on eBay depending how many pieces and condition.

I'm still using the SK sockets and wrenches I got for HS graduation in '65.
Good tools. Oil them up and use them. Your Dad would be proud.

Clean them up and oil them. If you were close to your father keep them. If you weren't....keep them and give'em to your son. If you have ANY good feelings toward your father and you get rid of those you will regret it later. I'll put it like this, if you happened to find a birthday card from your father with a hand written little note in it and signed from earlier in your life would you throw it away today or save it? Now you know what to do right?

My dad has that set. I grew helping him fix the car, and our bikes with it. I can still hear the ratchet if I think about it.

Don't get rid of it. It's small, and easy to keep.

I had a great relationship with my dad, but there are no boys in the family (including me) and so I won't be keeping the tools. I'll try to get a picture of the toolbox online sometime in the next few days. I do have an uncle that's interested in them and he wants me to give him a price. I was just looking for a ballpark figure that I can give him.

As someone mentioned, you could also search on ebay for those tools and see how much they are as a reference.

I saw the same set at a flee market last week for $30 and I passed. Not to say you will not get more on ebay, but it was still for sale when I left.

The box looks to be in great shape. If the toolbox is in half the condition I'd make you a fair offer on it. Let me know.

Quality tools for sure, when real Americans used real steel to make awesome tools! If you were to buy that today you'd pay through the roof.

They're worth whatever someone will pay for them. Most folks will moan and groan that they can by the same stuff new cheaper. Never understanding the value of old tools. And we wonder why China's taking over.

Yea I was thinking about the same as you $20-$30 range. They are nice old tools but there are still a bunch of them out there. Like someone said above check on ebay and look at completed auctions and see what similar sets like yours have gone for. You could even list them on ebay and see what they bring.
