anyone know who made this tool box

I got this cool old tool box for free for scrap its a heavy old sucker but I couldn't bring myself to scrap it anyone have any info on it

I'm pretty sure that is a Snap On; something close to the KR21 series, but the KR21 has a Hip roof lid...

Look for SO embossed on the drop front from the inside (Often easier to see than on the outside).

I second what Outlaw is saying. I just saw that exact box at a friends house and its a Snap on. The name should be embossed on the front of the drop down panel.

I am going to have to go against the majority here and say it is not a snap on box. Just something about the overall build quality and hinges doesn't say snap on to me.

Can you take a pic of the drawer slides (if any)?

At least the price was right.

We are talking mid to late 30's snap on, back when SO didn't make their own boxes.
