Picked up this 26" top/bottom last month on sale for $270. It's got the Griplatch drawers and it's made of the thicker sheet metal like their heavy duty boxes (not the new paper thin stuff). I was actually pretty surprised when I got home and found out it was actually US-made, rather than Mexican or Chinese! I don't know if it has to do with being a "limited edition" or not. I'm a college student so the truck brands are too rich for my blood, plus I'm only a weekend warrior. All-in-all I'm really happy with the box. I haven't had time to get all my tools into it yet, but I figured I'd share some pics.

The "box" I upgraded from:

Made in USA of US and global components. From reading around online, I'm guessing the slides and maybe the casters are import. The box was made by Waterloo:

While some might ask why I didn't get the Harbor Freight box, I should note that I wasn't planning on getting a box at all. I was going to work out of a portable and a bag. After realizing how much of a PITA that would've been, I decided I really needed a box and this was the cheapest option I felt I could live with. I'm happy with it for now.

Looks nice man. Where'd you get that sorta tool deal? What sizes are in it? What sizes do your RP wrenches go to? Lastly, what brand are your ratchets? Great start man!

I was up in your neck of the woods not too long ago. 1 month maybe. 241 I think is where I was, around a decent sized lake, and picked up a HF chest for 240. Sorry man!

You can pick up the Sorta Tool Wrench holder at sears store. I picked one up for about $10. Its a good idea but I just took my wrenches out of mine as I didn't like the metric and standard all bunched up with each other. Its a great little organizer and keeps things tight if you need to save room.

you will have it over-flowing in no time!

Yep. It'll go something like this:

Box starts filling up, build racks for wrenches, pliers etc, make more space, buy more tools to fill up space.

Eventually box gets packed and must buy another/bigger box. Now need more tools to fill that new empty space. Box gets full, etc, etc. A never ending, vicious cycle.

My best advice to the OP would be to just sell everything right now and learn to use the cell phone when somethin' needs fixin'.:bounce:

Thanks. I got the Sorta-Tool from Sears for $8 or so. It covers everything from 6mm to 19mm and 1/4" to 3/4". I got the 26 pc. RP wrench sets, which covered 7mm to 22mm and 1/4" to 1-1/8" (they come with little bags of smaller ignition wrenches, which I just keep in the bags). They were on sale for $49 each. I had to cover three stores to find US-made sets, and I ended up getting the last of each. I bought a loose 6mm separately because I hate empty spots!

And hey, nice find. You ****!

What ratchets are those in pic 3?

Those are Taiwanese Kobalt 72-tooth ratchets. I'm extremely happy with them.

Bahaha, I'll keep that in mind.

nice setup man, is this for home use?

Thanks. Yeah, just for working on my own car and bike, maybe some other random projects around the house.

To everyone else, thanks for the compliments! It's so nice to not have to dig through a pile of tools kept in my closet anymore. Working in the garage goes 200% smoother when you have everything at your fingertips!
